  • DV panel isnt closed tut tut!

  • and before anyone makes a stab about my grammar, yes i know i made spelling mistakes. I just forgot to check. :-)

  • 6axe1man5, you need to elarn how to read punctuation. Santarosa is asking questions not making statemts. santarose is already doing what you ahve suggested; trying to learn. You tube is also a learning site. You need to answere questions and not be so ready to pass such hard comments.

  • If you're using FRC's (i've only use FRC's in Powered A/C) under the cockpit checks it may say, "DV Panel-As Required". Most people close it during launch to avoid the wind whislting through it but it can be left open. It just makes launch a little noisey. When flying the grob 109's we used to shut the panels but open the scoops, once again to lower noise but when it got really hot we used to open the DV panel completely and stick closed fingers out to scoop in more air. Hope this helps.

  • I think you need to learn what you're talking about. Nowhere in the pre take off checks does it mention anything about the DV panel.
