I tried using the TvC fightstick with Orochi Saga, but it stops working whenever you get to the character select screen. I have tried every setting and I still cannot play any of the games with the stick. I bought the game thinking I could use it. Has anyone else experienced this?
@Monacomaverick Does the stick have a switch for left, digital and right stick near the turbo switches? You might have it on ls and needs to be on dp for digital pad. Ls means you fight stick is using the analog stick controls wich may not work. think of the fightstick as a remapped classic controller. If the analogs on the classic controller aren't used in the game, LS switched on will not allow you to move anything.
@kornstew It does have all the options you mentioned. The stick stops responding at the character select screen, and the only button that will work is the Nintendo "Home" button that takes you to the Wii's startup screen. I have tried every configuration (I think), but to no avail. Looking at the stick closer, I think that somebody returned it once, but it's odd since it works with the game it was meant for.
You can find the Madcatz stick cheaper than full price now. Its supposed to be pretty nice, but just like the other versions of the SE fightstick it uses identical (size) parts as real Sanwa stuff. So you can very easily upgrade it to use the same parts as an arcade cabinet or the tournament edition stick.
I just got a TE 360 stick and going to modify it to work on the wii but via gamecube connection so not sure if I may want one of the TvC sticks later that use a classic controller connect.
I'm using the Hori Fight stick with TvC right now. It works just fine. I don't feel the need to pay the extra money to get the madcatz stick. It is a better stick, but for this game, it's not neccisary. The wii can't justify a $70 controller purchase. It just doesn't have enough games to make it worth it. TVC is awsome, but not worth $120 investment in game and madcatz.
Honestly, the hori is worth th $40. The buttons are a little stiff but the joystick is solid. I'm waiting for the release of tvc to justify purchasing the 70 stick. Right now, I don't play any fighting games so the hori wil do fine. if tvc becomes an epic fighter, then I will purchase the madcatz stick. It's just tough to spend that kind of money on a stick for one game. If the Wii had more fighting game worth playing, id definately recommend the tvc stick. We'll see !
I might get a fighting stick when the Wii U comes out and a fighting game gets on it.

@kornstew does this control (wii fight stick) works for TATSUNOKO vs capcom?

@luisale130 Yes it does. It connects to the Wii controller and acts as a classic controller. Will work fine with TvC. I have the game and tested it.

How is the Hori controller? Is it worth the $40 or would you suggest the $70 tvc arcade stick?
