  • How do they afford all this extravagance?

  • @TheHumanTouchBC They're rich

  • i really like the travellers culture same like us very similar ...cheers to travellers

  • I find it sad and disturbing that these children believe Holy Communion is about showing off and getting money.

  • These Wedding And Bridesmaids Dresses Are Sooooo Sexy.

  • We are different groups we travelers don't hav as much culture as gypsies and in my big fat gypsy weddin most of the people were travelers not gypsys and by the way we got plenty of money we just work harder than most fer I don't even hav a trailer I have two homes one fer winter and one for summer and I ocaisionaly will stay in apartments wen travelin

  • i thought they are poor ?!? how do they afford all these lavish things ?!?!

  • @1234gsp they don't pay tax or national insurance.

  • @firefox666moll 0_O oic, and what gives them the right not to pay taxes ?!?!

  • To all of those who participated in this program: I want to sincerely thank you for bringing out the truth about our culture. God is number one to us, and our people are good, and have good morals. The other show, "Big fat Gypsy weddings," was making a mockery out of my culture and it made my heart bleed. So God bless to you all my people, that were in this show, and God bless you for telling the truth about the way our old people were, and the way we always should be. Thank you! From America

  • @MrDinlo And why did that show lump gypsies and Irish travelers into one category? Wouldn´t you say that those are two very different groups? I am really only curious, I´m American and am interested in learning more about this group of people. No offense intended.

  • Irish Travelers and Romany Gypsies are most definetely two different ethnic groups. I'm a Gypsy; my wife is part Gypsy and part Irish Traveler, so I should know. I think the "Big Fat Gypsy Wedding" only showed Irish Travelers, but gave people the impression that the show was about Gypsies, which it was NOT. On the other hand, "Truth about Travellers," show the IRISH Travelers for who they really are and does not intend to dig up sensationalist junk, nor does it claim to be about Gypsies.

  • @MrDinlo wot r ye goin on about

irish travellers and gypsys are all the same just diffrent languge every traveller knows that

english travellers call der selfs travellers and irish call der selfs gypsys

  • @GypsieBarbieDoll No Irish traveller would himself or herself a Gypsy!

  • @GypsieBarbieDoll I am an English Gypsy and I do not call myself a Traveller. Maybe some do, but many of us do not because we dont want people to think that we are Irish. Nothing wrong with the Irish. But we are two different nations, and we dont mix. It's not just the language.

  • @MrDinlo No decent Gypsy would want to be an Irish traveller....

  • @irishxxkelt no gypsy is an Irish traveller they're not Romanies

  • @MsOneiroi77 Romany/ Romanies are Gypsy people who originally came from India. I have spent hours researching this and read a BOOK ABOUT GYPSIES YEARS AGO.....

  • @irishxxkelt I couldnt agree more gypsies originated in India I happen to be a British Romani. The Irish travellers are indigenous to ireland and therefore Pavee Travellers and not Romanies.

  • @MsOneiroi77 I feel sorry for the British Romanies when Travellers are referred to as Gypsies, because they are not honest. In Ireland they are called knackers, which is offensive to them.

  • @irishxxkelt thank you, the media jumps on the gypsy label not realizing there are more than one group who have no cultural associations. The Big Fat Gypsy Wedding show presented Irish Travellers as romanies now people think all gypsies in Britain are Irish. I think its a label many Pavee want to confuse non-Travellers because they have tarnished themselves and their communities reputation in ireland for so many years, so much they latch on to another cultures identity.

  • @MsOneiroi77 Exactly. There was a two-day article in the Irish Times about 2 weeks ago about travellers in Ireland and even people who work with them consider them problematic. Ask any Irish policeman his opinion about them and the reply would be unprintable...........

  • @irishxxkelt thats pretty much the view of British Romanies as well who would run a mile before associating with Irish Pavee Travellers. They are feril, hot headed, fight, and do so many things we have several words in Romaines for them and they arn't nice. While they parrade about on the media showing "gypsy culture" when there isnt a single drop of romani in them and come to Britian and cause chaos. Then we get the blame and hatecrimes against us especially in the media.

  • @MrDinlo yep agree 160% Im a British romani and we never did mix with Irish Traveller we used to call them hinde temengero they are not a part of our culture even if they have bow top vardos.

  • @thejoymonster I hope my comment (below) is helpful to answer your question.
