You dont know anything about semis. A long wheelbase truck rides smoother, is more stable at high speed and can potentially have better aerodynamics if the body is optimized for the wheelbase which then gives it a chance to potentially have more torque.

My brother has a long wheelbase Peterbuilt 379 and it rides a lot smoother and tows a lot easier. If you ever get the chance to ride or drive one, you will love the long wheelbase and never go back to short.

I was told you can't get those overlenth tractor permits anymore? I can very well be wrong but let me know. 2 of the OO where i drive out of....2003 KW900L 280" and the other a 305" both told me that you can't get overlenth tractor permits anymore. Our Terminal is like 200' on the canadian side, so they don't worry about it, cross + drop. We have city drivers.

Nice Truck but the Wheelbase is far too long. That truck simply wouldn't be allowed in Australia as a Prime Mover as it is just far too long and it would be impossible for me to get into some of the tight delivery spots i have to get into. Even turning into some of the narrow streets near the city would be too tight. Check out a few you tube videos of Aussie trucks and you will see what i am talking about.
