i dont really get uraharas shikai is his power the same as ichigo like they both have similair shikais its just one makes the sound of a bottle rocket and cuts through things instead of just hitting them like ichigos. most of uraharas attacks involve explosions so why doesnt his attack explode when it hits that tentacle at 0:56??????

@x10dm88 no its definitly his real shikai he just has never been super serious in a fight, he either plays with his enemy or he isnt serious because he has a difirent motive. like when he went against aizen he used a pretty powerful benihime technique which would have finished his oponent off if he hadnt been aizen. i hope we get to see a fight with kisuke in it where he goes all out to kill his enemy with benihimes techniques

@ssfourvegeta i seen the fight with aizen, even then, it looked like a zangetsu with an extra 2 techniques, i expected more from the smartest character in bleach since aizen has pound for pound the most powerfull zanpaktou there is, but hey uraharas bankai could be a complete mind fuck, like gin, shikai seems basic but bankai makes up for it its epic

@x10dm88 ya urahara said that he placed the sealing kido on him when he hit him with the hadou 91 so after that all aizen had to be was weakened to be sealed,, so why didnt he use his bankai. i think its because it has alot of destructive force and their was hella wounded people around him, he would end up killing everyone

Yes, Yamamoto is the head captain, so he can give orders, I agree. So why did he participate in the battle at all? Couldn't he just order the death of the monster, rather than unleash his Zanpaktou for a attack that did nothing and disappear afterwards?

mayuri only took uraharas spot because he was uraharas lieutenant in the research division and urahara told him if anything were to happen to him that the research division would be left in his hands along with his spot as a captain... so basicaly mayuri only took urahara spot cuz he himself was no longer able to keep it due to the aizen hollowfication incident, it has nothing to do with mayuri's own skill and intelligence

In this movie, everyone pretty much forgot about Ichigo'n Rukia. Since Soul Society is hunting Ichigo(because he was stupid enough to put his hollow mask on in front of Hisagi), Urahara and Yoruichi step into the mess. He dons his captain robe in Soul Society(pretty much fanservice, seeing this movie was released a little after Turn back the Pendulum aired)

I think his shikai by itself is... "Awaken". "Sing" is for the blast, and the "Rend it assunder" for this non-cannon(yet) attack. It's like Rukia's "Some no Mai"
