I think a lot of these can fit into my life already. I have always wanted to start a compost pile but I can't for the fact of where I live, but I am making my own in a pail for my herb, veggie, and bamboo plants. Reusing ziplocks and okay I can't find one to do. I love all 12 ways!
@AzyrenIshida ok good...so you completely understand what I am saying. Thank you for showing me here on youtube your ignorance. Like the problem out there is only conservatists. Open your eyes..the problem lies on both sides. and for your info I am neither a conservative nor a liberal. I have my own brain...I dont need a label to be cool.
You can get cloth reusable food bags or even make them your self. They make it out of a water proof fabric (PUL, which is what they make cloth diaper covers out of). And as other comments have pointed out reusing #1 plastic is not safe to reuse but #2 #4 and #5 are safe :)
Great video. I'm going to start turning ziplocks bags upside and put them on the drying rack.
Also you shouldn't reuse plastic water bottles, the toxins and chemicals in the water bottle plastic will start leaking/ seeping into the water. This means its very bad for your health.
Why do you ever talk about meat and farming livestock? Being how Livestock is directly responsible for 51% of green house gases. I tried post links to resources but youtube I guess doesn't allow linking
We do most of these. No goats now, they're great. No buckets under for collecting water, I'll look into that in the shower. I do recycle water I use in the kitchen.
I'd like to grow a winter "garden" indoors. Any suggestions? Will peppers and chilis grow in side. What greens (chickweed?) would be manageable inside.
Got bags, Do compost, no worms, no buckets under wash, do harvest others produce. take your own reusable green gags.Reuse zip locks on rack. Converted to all glass and spring water. Dog eats scraps. Well on our way, no goats yet!!
We do all of these minus the goat -if only we lived in the country. Another easy way to go green is to shop local, the farmers market is great! We forget our cloth bags often but use boxes from the grocery store when this happens. Grocery stores have an abundance of boxes. Then we use the boxes to hold our recycling and other things. As for plastic containers they can re-purposed all over the house and garden. We use ours to store just about everything and make bird feeders and what not out of.
All good things--thank you Kevin! Let's not forget putting pressure on the powers that be to curb corporate waste and abuse of natural resources. It is big business that is doing massive and systematic damage to our planet.
Thank you and Annmarie for the Renegade Health Show. It has been an invaluable source of information and ideas as I transform my life. There aren't many sources of information in my area, so, thanks guys. And Kevin, I am reading your book!

I commit to be more careful when I'm buying food so I won't throw it away.
