George Russel lived in Sweden and Norway in many years and was a very wellrespected musican,composer, and innovator with many friends here.He lead and teached many orchesters in Scandinavia.Thank´s George.We miss you a lot.

Wow, more George Russell. Eric Dolphy and Coltrane. How come he never recorded with Coltrane. And I finally get to see Orrin Keepnews. He and Rudy Van Gelder should run the world. This video is fantastic. And Eric Dolphy, wow ! The whole thing--WOW !

THANK YOU VERY MUCH for this great video. I really appreciate George Russell's big contribution to jazz history, I've read his book (Lydian chromatic concept of tonal organization), I've heard almost all of his works... a genius.
