Please respond . My son suggested we produce a film using A-Bomb Vets and all Veterens needing health, financial and medical treatment. Using our congress persons to help us in our plight. Thank You.

  • What about the effects of the men on the support ships. My father was on the USS John Craig. He was exposed to 8 of this "testings" and has had every kind of skin cancer, as well as cerebral dementia which excuse me for saying it like this his brain was fried. My sister has had breast cancer, she was conceived shortly after my father returned home. After many attempts he is no finally collecting on 50% VA benifits. Shame on you VA

  • @DripofHunn Sorry to hear this. The VA is next to broken, you have to have someone that really knows what their doing and cares to get vets the proper VA benefits

  • @DripofHunn My father was there and witnessed 33 blasts. I believe it's known today that the radiation has had ho harmful effects at that dose. They had a documentary on this recently and the scientists interviewed mentioned that its believed that low dose radiation exposure actually stimulates the body's repair mechanisms which is why airline pilots and those who live in high altitude regions and have higher radiation exposure have lower rates of cancer.

  • @ChannelingusIV Thank you for your input, I am very glad to hear that your father has had not effects from the testing. Although I appreciated your comments, they are erroneous. Please check with any website concerning our "Atomic Veterans" you will find countless effects. Yahoo has a blog set up for just Atomic Veterans. There is a song I am a patriot - and I love my country. That is me and my family - be we must always protect ourselves and families. God bless the vet's coming home-be aware!
