  • The thing to remember about HOUSE music and HOUSE dance is, it is the artistic & creative expressionism by the DJ/producer and dancers coagulating a mixture of ALL styles and influences from every known resources available...HOUSE is eternal and it will never fade away into obscurity..It is spirit & soul, it is more then just a feeling..it is a RELIGION. P.L.U.R

Btw recordings rarely catch the song in good quality. it may be a lot-lot-lot better irl :)

  • like on the ice.....................

  • what the difference between C-walk and this ?

  • @mohcinethetiger C-walk is a shuffle and has 0 of the same moves.

  • @mohcinethetiger

wow are you retarded. cwalk is nothing close to this ignorant fuck -.- people who dont dance will never understand

  • HOUSE MUSIC................

  • great track, great moves.

  • Good dancers but could've used a better house track to dance to.

  • it would be better if they werent wearing baggy clothes.

  • @homer091 ithink baggy clothes are okay for this style :)

  • This isn't just house dancing...more of Popping, B-Boying, and Locking. Oh well just letting peeps know so they don't get confused.

  • @graffitypsycho No shade - but this is just House Dancing.

  • This is not a very good representation of house. Wikipedia, or some other verbalized description of house is okay. However it can best be described by those who originated it in Chicago, mid 80's to early ninties.

  • searched youtube for the past year for house dancing and these guys are by far the best yet.

  • @holdthemeat Look at Ejoe? Caleaf? Brooklyn Terry? Brian Green?

  • I love house!!! I'm really happy for that i started dancing house! :D Now i'm dancing popping, hiphop, locking and house! Dancing is just great! :D

  • the guy in a shirt with orange stripes is really good! he's def different from a bboy, great video :)

  • amazing!

  • @spikefreak11 trust me hardstyle is the easiest dance ever i learned it in 1week ... i think the hardest dances i ever did are house and c walk im still not very good at them

  • i think the one with the white pants has the coolest style ;)

  • Right, House dancers not jazz dancers, that music sucks for house dance.

  • nice song.... fresh feeling

  • i love youtube comment wars. Especially ones about how to classify things. Lol internet we love you.

  • What's the name of the tune?

  • Ennio Morricone-Come maddalena (Cosmos Mix)

if u still wanted to knw

  • A reasonable observation, but it isn't very accurate. Maybe by chance some of the movements look similar, but house stays much closer to the West African, the jazz, tap, and latin styles. Notice the fluidity in the torso compared to a bboy. House has its own ground movements called lofting that have more fluid execution compared to breaking. BTW, the guy in the white shirt is a bboy, Mathias, and doesn't represent house dance. Check wikipedia for house dance, more info there. What's rave pop?

  • House dance can be incorporated into any style including pop and break within its structure. These guys unfortunately didn't have the right music.

  • @firstnamenavarre

Excellent explanation, I understood immediately. Thank you.

  • @firstnamenavarre u have a good point. Did u notice how his house dancin had some toprockin elements.

  • your comment failed. :)

  • 4:15-4:37 all i have to say is What!

  • Where can you get this song?

  • The guy in ball cap and white tshirt looks too much like bboy imo, but he´s nice nonetheless ..

  • Aye kindly RATE,COMMENT on this session! Sub me if ya like em! ;)

  • what this song please?

  • This is Ennio Morricone's Come Maddalena remix

  • Who are you, you 19-year old nobody? What do you know about dance? I've demoed for dance professors who have been sincerely impressed and shocked to see a street form like this. Get out of here, and try using periods when you finish your sentences.

  • yea dude you know nothing about real dancing... so stfu

  • I had to go on your channel to check out who you were, as I was curious what kind of an ignorant cunt would say such a thing about people who have something good to offer to the world.

Then I saw that you uploaded a pointless video of your scrawny douche ass wearing a stupid-looking red cap in class, and I was content to know that only truly talentless retards would say such a thing.

    Peace

  • yooo straight up nasty ... these dudes can groove like WAOOO ..BIGG GUP

  • Looks like modern tap dancing to me ... also you can't really dance with a girl with those moves .... unless she dances the same ... which would be off putting.

  • that goes for almost every type of dance that isnt ballroom

  • That doesn't mean you can't adapt them. Some house choreographers manage to make some the steps into these volatile brief couples steps. There is also the occurrence of vibing, which is two house dancers observing and complementing each other, sometime mimicking. House is a dynamic and distributed form that adapts traditional ones for the club. No noe controls it. Note the absence of a tap sound, which dancers must account for, and the use of tennis shoes, which allows more athletic movement.

  • a lot of house moves come from jaz dance which has a long tradition of social dancing. more house moves come from latin which has many more social dance styles. and house evolved from disco which has THE HUSTLE which is the closest to house social style and is represented at some international house competitions. plus house is strongly influenced by the gay scene - so not all social dancing needs to be between the opposit sex.

  • There is a large amount of tap and jazz involved in their styles. Also you are watching an exhibition of solo dancing, this isn't how they would dance with a partner. These individuals are DANCERS though and I will guarantee can dance many types of both solo and partner dance.

  • Most of the the time you dance by yourself. It's just you, and the music. Eventually you get into a state of flow. If you have a really hot DJ, it's almost like meditation. You lose yourself in an expanded universe. You should try it-instead of just watching videos.

  • @alkh3myst And that's why each dancer is unique. You make the moves as you are inspired.

  • @alkh3myst

Hey man, I couldn't have said that any BETTER. You definitely GET it. I LOVE dancing to dark tribal progressive house when it's 4am and the DJ's turning up the BPMs. Nothing beats the feeling & the VIBE: Unreal!!!!

  • @maxtheitpro d^-^b

  • @alkh3myst don't you think that watching the videos will start up the inspiration needed to do you own things? esp. for beginners like myself.

  • @tmtsa Sure you can get inspiration from watching vids, but house culture has to be FELT. Don't worry about trying to do what you see advanced dancers doing, or even the latest step. Just get out there! Everybody had to start from somewhere.

  • @alkh3myst True true. Being there is a great teacher but getting out there is the hard part for me so looking at some of the basics seems like a good start maybe.

  • @tmtsa "A peacock who sits on his tail is just another turkey." Don't worry about feeling self-conscious. This life is the only one we get, SO LIVE IT!!!

  • @alkh3myst I Love you

  • @HouseForLife6 d^_^b

  • @alkh3myst I'm dancin my kitchen : )

  • @bobc105 Good for you!

  • @alkh3myst lol yes I've done this I dance to the flow of myself...I think I'm doing something pretty fantastic...but when I record myself ...I end up seeing myself look like a complete idiot lol

XD Its better when you dance alone.

  • House music is great. but the dance well...It sucks :D

  • i want to learn more about house dancing.. cause this looks pretty borring they look like they doing stupid shit retarded moves. but yet peole be like ohh they nice. so thats what it is doing retarded moves and you know house dancing??

  • house dancing used to be more creative..but if you look at all of these videos...it all looks the same, in some way or another. house dancing in my opinion has no business in competitions or displays. it to be done on the dance floor, smokey, dark..strobes..

  • If you think you could do half any of what these people are doing then you probably have never even tried. All of their moves are controlled and calculated, the beat in this music is very complex yet they are staying on time and hitting almost every sound in the music. If you think they are just wilding out and moving you aren't paying very much attention or have little understanding of musical timing and structure.

  • That was nice!! luv the track, any1 know what it's called?

  • Ennio morricone - come maddalena (cosmos remix)

  • Moses-- you're a true dancer. See, I get mesmerized at 5:20. Where can I find great deep house? Not wack techno; like lose your mind house?

  • Find the radio tab in iTunes and listen to the AfternoonMix from Paris, in the electronica section. They play a lot of good deep house, mixed with soulful house. Just search for deep house podcasts on the internet, also.

  • Ennio Morricone - Come Maddalena (cosmos remix)

  • stone fox chase i think

  • damn, i need this song, someone please help!

  • Great song! :) what is it?

  • bom demais

estou praticando esaa dança..acho incrivel e os tres que dançaram sao fantasticos

    parabens e a musica tambem..é espetacular..

    B.boy Fê From Brasil...Paz

  • WOW...im a house head from way back in the early 80s, from detroit. i hav always loved chi-town and the gift they gave the world especially the D. this right here is why blk ppl hav always and will always b the best this planet has to offer. always emulated, never duplicated

  • Whoa, man. They're using some latin steps in there, and house came out of lots of minority demographics. Don't get me wrong - these dancers hit it hard, but don't get all black attack. I've also met some black dudes who have no rhythm and no capacity for dancing. These guys are good dancers, that's it.

  • Please understand that House as well as B-Boying was a fusion of African and Latin and Native(American) Dancing....these cultures bounced off each other and still do......as for these guys dancing they're real good you can tell they scaled down their skills for a school performance, but i imagine if at a club they'd probally murder the floor..and yeah not all african/latin/ or natives got rhythm

  • someone want to chat

I NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO ZQ

  • ааааааа супер!!оч класное видео!)

  • hustota :-D

  • B.O.M.B.A!!!

  • sieht irgendwie affig aus der schwarze. und kommt mir jetzt nicht mit rassismus. ist halt so.

  • The one in white T-shirt's style is just like the dance---Breakin's Toprock!!!

  • Sorry guys... what's the name of the track? help pls *.*

  • its a remix of Ennio Morricone track but i dont renember the name of it remix from one of the compost record label. sory for my english:) peace

  • No Problemi For the your english... becouse im am italian ^_^ ... Thnx you

  • I'm really into street dancing, but somehow I just cannot understand house dance. Its like the moves are so vague and I can't tell them apart. Could someone explain to me a little what makes house dance, well, house dance.

  • it has roots in african, latin, disco, modern, and many other formal dances. it attempts to smooth out these forms into a coherent street dance. to tell the dancers apart, notice that the guy in the black shirt takes to floor, but doesn't break by any means. he also throws in tap dance and latin moves. watch his hips and feet. every tap is deliberate. guy in polo shirt does pure footwork with some locking at the end. admittedly, guy in the white shirt is very bboy, not representative.

  • The hustle. It's all about the hustle.

Add some lofting and tap into the mix, a dash of Haitian and afircan and you've got a big chunk of House Dance today.

  • it just means reacting to house music. every style of dance is created from reacting to 'ideally' each & every sound in the music. try to completely let go & dont worry about tryin to dance a 'style'. if you dance to a type of music enough, really feel it, & get totally lost in the music (in the zone) you'll feel the groove. let the music move your body, not your thoughts. 'moves' are too often created & named from too many people trying to imitate other dancers rather than imitating the music.

  • check out Babson at 3:38 - that's exactly what i'm talkin about. hit every beat with your body like you would a target. let the music flow thru your bones and cells so it looks like you're creating the music with your body. then you'll know what the groove feels like :)

  • while the dancers do display some of the foundation steps, it looks more like the bboy dances. All proficient dancers can catch a beat and this is displayed in the video. I am not convinced that they are dancing true house. Can a salsa be confused with anything else? Then why have house dancing be subject to adjustments? I grew up with house, as I am in my 40's. Many of the moves have been lost over the years, however its good to see that an effort is being made to salvage the art form.

  • Guy in black top is best

  • No I beg to differ..I'm from Chicago where house music was born as well as dancing to house music..The style of dance has no doubt changed but the cat with the dreads was more house than any of them..His footwork was much more complex and deep..

  • I agree. It's takes a sharp eye because he isn't as loud, but Yugson's a true house dance genius, no boundaries. I come back to this video every few months and I always learn something new just from watching Yugson. He blows my mind every time, the way he rides the music.

  • @csj3rd YO RESPECT TO CHICAGO ...BUT DUDE WITH THE DREADS WAS BARLEY HOUSE DANCING ... KID WITH THE WHITE HAT WAS FAR BETTER \ HOUSE DANCE IS ABOUT BEING FLUID ..NOT SEEEING WHO CAN JUMP AROUND THE MOST CHECK EJOE =FLUID SHAN S FLUID EVERYONE ELSE JUST JUMPS AROUND !! LEARN IT SON

  • da white t shirt dancer looks like he used to bboy!!! yea?? looks like it a little lol wit his steps!

  • errr the white t-shirt guy is a bboy. Bboy mathias from Fantastik Armada in france. He is well known for his style of tops rocks. He is not house dancing here...he is doing top rocks.

  • i knew it... i know a bboy when i see one!!!

  • song name??? hott track yo

  • Ennio Morricone - Come Maddalena (cosmos remix)

  • oh yeas

  • i hate how veterans try to hold down dance styles trying to keep them from evolving evolution is the natural cycle of things can you imagine not seeing orginality in a dance it would be very monotonous and boring

  • i totally see where you're coming from... dogma sucks in all ventures. but i do appreciate them preserving it, because otherwise i probably wouldn't have seen it, and it's at least interesting. like a museum ;P

  • yea thankyou very much for agreeing with me

  • makes sense, but people have a tendency to become defensive when they feel like they're threatened. maybe it's just that some folks think what they do is best and always will be. really, it doesn't matter what they say, because house is always changing, even from person to person in the same crew, and there's nothing they can do about it. peace.

  • house dancin = freestyle moves on the spot... PEACE n LOVE from LA

  • word. it's inspired. that's why it's easy to grasp, but hard to master.

  • it looks like uprock lmao

    fking lame copied shit

  • the only guy resembling uprock is the guy in the white shirt. The rest are mostly using house foundational steps, sometimes modifying them. Not only that, but the quality of the footwork and overall level of control is way beyond what most uprockers could pull off. It's also way smoother than pure uprock.

The beauty of house is the freedom to use as many styles as you need to express yourself in the context of the song. Good house dancers often know and use many styles.

  • yea house dancing is held in the same panthion as toprocking by professional bboys all the major bboy jams worth going to have a house dance cypher

  • Have'nt seen anyone else on youtube besides these guys that actually move 2 the beat..lol

  • epic.

  • doooh u dont say so.like we dont know..just chillin out nice to see and enjoy

  • dope shit!!!

  • crap song - doesn't flow, sounds like latin drum and bass on acid :)

  • the Wanted are the bestttttt

by the way its not HUgson but YUgson ;)

  • The name of the song is "Come Maddalena (Cosmos remix)" by Ennio Morricone

  • What's the name of the song ?

  • they are True to the fullest

  • 2nd guy was a killer

  • that's Mamson.....he's from "Wanted Posse" that whole crew is dope.

    :)

    end of line.

  • Yeah he sure is.

his steps just hit the beats

  • I can't understand house-dance :D it's look nice, but there haven't any sense.

  • you are a retarded..

  • u dont have to understand it, house, like every other dance, is all about expressing urself thru the music. im not flaming u, but if u danced a certain style and enjoyed it, u would know wut i mean.

  • there is a quote that has been sampled over and over in house music which says, "not everyone understands house music, its a spiritual thing, a body thing, a soul thig."

  • Word! ...it's that silent beat, movements are made right on the spot.

  • Really nice dancers !! and chill music plz tell me the name of the song

  • HAHAHA at 1.47 he gets smaaacked

  • that was mad soulful.

  • yeah i saw them live, they are from france

  • dude in the striped tee looks like t-pain! haha!!

  • what's the name of the song please??????

  • w/e i love it

  • dude in white pants kills it.

  • actually they are members of Wanted Posse, a popular breakdancin group from France. so yeah they've got some of those moves spiced up into their house dancing.

  • es bueno pero les invito a bailar el RAPTOR HOUSE, CHANGA TUKY PARA TODOS USTEDES DESDE VENEZUELA SI ENTIENDEN O.K

  • man in white shirt is really goood

  • search "bboy mathias"

  • songs pleaseeeeeeeee??????????????

  • i can tell the last guy . in the white is a break dancerr. or does hip hop

  • wtf

  • second one is toprock??

  • yeah yeah Baba come on :)!

  • NIIIIICCCCCCCEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

  • How can you say that bboy and housing have no connection?

    What is lofting then?

  • u make no sense hahhahh this guyy

  • am i wrong for being both a bboy and a house dancer?

  • Nothing wrong with that.

  • i liked the guy with the black hat best

  • its soul dancing. its suppose to be an unlimited representation of ur soul, and if u just do the foundational structured moves then to me u have no style at all. thats where house, breakdancing, caporia, jazz, tap. those guys arnt restricted to the title housedancers by the styles they come with. i dont think housedancing and b-boyin have any thing to do with each other. ,house music and dancing is older than b-boying. its modern day disco/dance music. it evolved into what it is now.

  • they are close to the same age. rubberband man and apache were brooklyn rockin in 68, which is the precurser to bboyin.. rockin got roots in the hustle and salsa, which also had huge influences in house forms. this shit came from the same streets, just different venues. the roots of all "street" forms are so intertwined, yet they have produced a diversity of dance.... what.... i fucking love this this thing we do

  • go to my favorites, then to freestyle dance so.cal in all capps.

  • i can tell the one with the backwards black hat it a bboy

  • 1) stop watching other people dance... 2) don't get caught up in the politics... 3) come up with your own shit cuz unless you don't... you're not helpin shit change or progress.

  • sorry, love to see other people dance, yes get caught up in politricks,... u got to know what what's goin on, and keep dancing. if not lil proton1's will keep the creativity level at -1 forever. never advancing.
