  • where the F can get this song? :(

I loooooooooooooooooove this song, go Amyl Nitrate

  • @Dulcinea131313

The song is actually by Suzi Pinns, it's called 'Rule Brittania' - don't know how you'd get hold of it now, other than an out of print copy of the Jubilee soundtrack

  • Since this can't be used for Eurovision, someone should do this on Britain's Got Talent.

    Just imagine everyone's expressions...

  • This is fucking weird.

  • at the start wht did the name simon cowell jump to mind ???

  • Queen Elizabeth the First would have liked this.

  • my God, its Amyl Nitrate

  • I love Orlando! Anyone got the bit where he says, 'If the music is loud enough, you can't hear the world fall apart,' or something similar..??

  • @TheBlueNomad

"... it's like pornography. Better than the real thing."

  • OMG, the bald guy is Simon Cowell! :D

  • glad this is on here

  • Fabulous

  • 'Jubilee' is an unmissably awful film but kind of nasty fun...Jarman taking the piss on a low budget always made stuff worth watching if only out of amazement and curiousity where it was all going. He did do some great stuff though...just wish there was such energy around from some of the modern film makers who cannot understand you do not need millions to make memorable films.

  • Don't post comments unless you know your subject (what a bunch of cunts)

Jordan was great in 'Jubilee' listen to the soundtrack if mummy will let you!!!

    Dug?

  • Tha fuck is this?!? Was searching 4 drugz on google and landed here :D

  • From a person who uses the word "feckin". good one.

  • Was "Rule Brittania" ever a big hit?

  • Hello

I am trying to find out what music was used in the beginning of Jubilee. I thought it was from Swan Lake. I managed to find the soundtrack but it didn't have any of the classical music that was used. I would be so grateful if you could help.

    Many Thanks

    Stephen

  • Adam and the Ants, 'Deutscher Girls', Wayne County and the Electric Chairs, 'Paranoia Paradise',Chelsea, 'Right to Work', Maneaters, 'Nine to Five', Suzi pinns, 'Rule Britannia', Amilcar, 'Wargasm in Pornotopia',Brian Eno, 'Slow Water' and 'Dover Beach'

  • We loved the clammy slags.

  • I got it off Amazon...

  • I have been looking for this movie for a long time where can I find it?

  • This movie is awesome!!

  • any one know wgere i could get a copy of this movie

  • It's power, babe. Power!

  • imagine if this actually ever were to be the british eurovision entry...

  • ... we might actually win it ...

  • I love this film and the soundtrack.

  • 'Orlando'? Looks rather like Stephen Berkoff to me.

  • No, it's the Great Orlando.

  • Suzi pinn's "Rule Brittania" is a highly underated song.

  • Very good, this film was made in 1976.

  • The film, called Jubilee, was timed to be alongside the Queen's silver jubilee in 1977. Punk started in the 70s. (The Clash, X-Ray Spex, The Damned, Siouxsie etc). I think it was the first film shot on video, I might be wrong. Anyway it is a very pretentious film, but I love it.

  • It was shot entirely on film.

  • he sounds like stewie from that american tv show the family guy.

  • stewie was a rip-off of other cartoons....so is the whole show more or less

  • hes got 1 eye looking at you and the other looking for you.

  • The Great Orlando- I can't remember his real name, but he was blind, that's why his eyes look slightly off. Friend of Derek Jarman I think, that's why he's in his films, but he should have made a lot more, he's a truly surreal character actor...

  • Jack Birkett

  • This is Jordan lip-synching over the singing of Suzi Pinns.

  • Join our Derek Jarman community and discuss away in the forums

    SlowMotionAngel dot com

  • Pretty bad film, but definitely iconic.

  • Absolute pretentious shite!

  • I take it Stewie Grithin from family guy is meant to be a homage to this guy?

  • That's exactly what I thought. Or at least Stewies voice was based on him.

  • QUE VAINE ES ESA?!! SIn duda un espectáculo digno de rctv aca en Venezuela. OK, I dunno the movie, I think is deeply weird...I am miles away, can anybody explain??

  • I've watched this 10 times and dont intend to stop watching it 2 times a day.

  • I love Jordon and this movie

  • Damn, I totally want this movie now.

  • Jesus, I've watched this like 5 times in a row; I can't emphasize how much it rocks.

  • Hahaha! I've seen some pretty weird crap, but wtf? I have no idea why this was listed under "related" after viewing an Arcade Fire song. This totally rocks.

  • wow, i love this movie.

  • ok ?

  • I don't create it. I OWN it!

Derek Jarman needs to be better known, damnit.

  • shes my number one!

  • I'll never get tired of this scene.

  • She rules!!!

  • you name it i bought them all and rearranged the alphabet

  • i sucked and i sucked...................
