  • Why do atheists always have to make things about religion. Just enjoy the science

  • This show would be even creepier if they put the characters in Muppet form.

  • That's incredible, I can't believe they can do this!

  • @mattjnor98 it has been done for like 4 years already and you find it surprising ¬¬

  • @hokage97531 It's just that I haven't seen CGI puppetry before.

  • @mattjnor98 k :| but its doen before

  • This is...effing amazing.

  • nice way they now have animation and for u that commented that this show was stupid and y they waste their time its because they r educating their children and this video is to show how they do it. so shut up n00bs

  • retard??hahaha you make me laugh..this show is for children.. are you a child?? I don't think so... so why do you bother to watch and write a comment about it..respect a little this is for our children

  • so hes the ass behind that retard sid kid dam i hate that show is so dumb

  • Wow! Brian Henson looks so much like Jim!

  • I HAVE NOTHING MORE TO SAY.

  • lol

  • What made the muppets so great were that they were, to an extent, real. CGI just doesn't have the same charm.

  • Sid's face gives me nightmares.

  • @Madnam yea

  • Whoa crap I didn't even notice the motion capture animation O_O I guess I'm so used ta video games with that technology x]

I love this show ^w^ I don't care what people say! Especially people who not only make fun of the show, but the people who watch it--like they've never watched a kid show in their life. There's nothing wrong with enjoying a few kids shows..they're way more entertaining than mtv er boring drama crap xP

  • cool...

  • aqwsadff

  • lol

  • I knew this existed...But i didn't know you could use it for animation!

  • this show sucks, thanks brian for ruining the muppets

  • does mr. rogers still come on?

  • yea

  • I LOVE SID!!!!!!!!!!!

  • well my little cousn likes it so guess i do:)

  • Trying to write a big paper on this stuff this week. I was looking for the wallstreet journal article for days, but this is even better. Thanks

  • Oh that's cool; but I still much prefer the old school way of puppets.

I miss Jim Henson very much.

My English teacher can do Kermit's voice exactly (and Shaggy from Scooby-Doo.) I always try to get him to do the voices, but sometimes never succeed. ;P Perhaps today. lol

  • I am still old school. I prefer the puppet method.

  • Comment removed

  • How cool.

  • i'm a puppeteer... CHECK!

  • HOORAY! Teaching science to pre-schoolers is awesome! Hopefully this will prevent them from growing up into creationist.

  • @DrivinWest Why do you care. Considering all the massive holes in the "evolution" Theory, is it not possible that where living things are today has come from "creation" combined with evolution. Remember it's not just one or the other but a huge scale with pure evolution on one end to pure creation on the other end. Most life forms just suddenly showed up in fossil records and evolved from that point.... MANY showed up in fossil records and NEVER evolved. I.E. : Flathead Catfish & Horseshoe crabs

  • he sounds exactly like jim henson. its weird.

  • i was wondering if he could do the kermit voice

  • He is the voice of Kermit, and has been since his father's death. The voice is close to the original, but of course not quite the same. It's like when Mel Blanc (voice of Bugs Bunny) died... his son took over for a while, but it wasn't the same. An exception is Shari Lewis' daughter. Her Lambchop is so close to her mom's version as to be indistinguishable.

Even so, there are many voices that will never be the same.

  • Im sorry to prove you wrong but Brian Henson has NEVER performed or even voiced Kermit the Frog. Shorty after jim had died , fellow puppeteer Steve Whitemire took over the role not Brian.

  • kinda seems like a goldberg machine but i guess the proof is in the pudding

  • the proof of the pudding is in the eating

  • You do realize the target audience is preschoolers, right?

  • show's not even out yet. good job troll.

  • Um, yes it is. This is old, dude. This is on PBS - my two year old watches it every morning.

  • i've made a proper fool of myself. my bad. apologies all round.

  • 0:02-0:08= nightmares.

  • i love sid the science kid

  • breakfast time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that is so cool! *is geeking*

  • I have a young daughter who is enraptured by this show, and I, being a multimedia producer, love that it's not another weak attempt at a kid's show like some of the others that are out there, they put effort and emerging technology into something educational for kids. It's one I enjoy watching with her...except I wish he didn't say "Super duper schmuper" every episode...other than that, it's great! :)

  • I know. Actually, it's "super duper uber schmuper," which makes it worse. Lol.

  • i thought it started on july

  • he runs like he has pooh in his pants and he has worms on his head

  • I got to be honest, I think this show looks and feels terrible. Nothing seems to move right. I saw this show this morning and stared at it trying to figure out what was wrong with it. This video cleared that up...

    I hate motion capture.

  • :o :o

  • sid is coooooooooooooool

  • Brian is Jim's son.

  • Thanks for posting this! I've been wondering how this new technique looked "in action". And I haven't seen Brian in ages, bit of a shock seeing how much he looks like his father. Also surprising to realize he's 46 now, only 10 years younger than Jim was when we lost him.
