@josefu0 Part of the problem was the wording of the bill. It scared the nobody small business drug dealers afraid they would be either shut down or beaten by corporations, a reasonable fear. Then the medical users were afraid they would get busted for growing it or restricted from using it. Then of course add in the people that were always against it and it failed. Word it better, repress fears, and educate and the next time may go better.

@RobotShoppingCenter May I add that making all these products were in a process that eliminated the THC, the chemical in weed that gets you high, so no so-called "drugs", or may I say harmless herb, is in the products. It is also cheaper and could also make car fuel from it, and the process to do so only lets out carbon dioxide and water vapor NOT carbon monoxide which comes out of burning oil which is slowly destroying our ozone layer. So economic and pollution problem solved with one solution

Be prepared for no smoking sections for marijuana. Very intrusive upsetting smells, and as with tobacco, do NOT wish to get either into my lungs or my life. Now that newspapers are less popular, notice how all the sudden the medias that be are allowing this subject for consideration. They must be making investments as we speak. My reasons for, as I reread my comment a week ago now, does come out pretty decided and written down that way. Forgive its certain nature, but it was due to a personal lesson and learning. Large amounts of alcohol have people running others off the road and just plain acting angrily, large amounts of marijuana make people sit back, and enjoy life.
It's possible to OD on alcohol, but not on marijuana. I would say marijuana is less dangerous than alcohol. It's too bad I don't live in California, but if this passes, other states might catch on.

I doubt marijuana will ever be "fully" legalized in America. There's to much money to be made in law enforcement off it. Police departments rely on seizing vehicles and properties from narcotics to fund their budget.
Doctors that prescribe legal medical marijuana get busted by the Federal government even tho it's legal in their state. It'll never happen.

@josefu0 Part of the problem was the wording of the bill. It scared the nobody small business drug dealers afraid they would be either shut down or beaten by corporations, a reasonable fear. Then the medical users were afraid they would get busted for growing it or restricted from using it. Then of course add in the people that were always against it and it failed. Word it better, repress fears, and educate and the next time may go better.
