  • @Dectheboner Plus, watch how the dog's nose is running. Connect those symptoms and you will see the chance of being kennel cough or some other respiratory issue is higher than CHF;)

  • @Dectheboner I am sorry to hear that but yet again, only a chest Xray and a cardiac ultrasound can actually diagnose heart problems. Sure it is a veterinary emergency but it is not compulsory to be CHF.

  • @Dectheboner Coughing is a symptom in a ton of different diseases. How can you scare the hell outta people and presume the worst?

  • Hi, I have a dog who has JUST managed to survive lungworm and is still on meds, she lost a portion of her lungs due to the horrible disease.

My advice is get her to the vets asap (better safe than sorry) worry about the vet fees after!

I am still paying my vet fees off, they didn't expect her to make it. Anyway the video i uploaded also shows TJ coughing like this. Take a look and see if it like your dog? Is your dogs tounge really hot when he/she kisses you? that would mean a high temp

  • Poor Baby

  • I know this was a long time ago, but did you ever find out what was wrong with the pup? It looks like distemper to me.I hope she is better!!!!

  • Hey there. I am a Kennel Attendant at a Veterinary Hospital. To me, it looks like your dog is very nethargic. I read the comments below, this is not Kennel Cough, or else your other dog would have it as well. It could be something as simple as a dry throat. Or a reverse sneeze. If she does not get better, please assist a Veterinarian.

  • My heart goes out to your poor dog. So the message is as harsh as it is..DON'T GET A PET UNLESS YOU CAN AFFORD TO KEEP IT AND THE VETS BILLS!

  • @funkycabbage23 While I understand where you're coming from, a message like that is neither helpful nor necessary. You don't know the history of financial conditions in this particular situation and would do well not to criticize someone in their time of mild panic.

As a side note, I hope she's doing better. My pit/rottie mix was just diagnosed with kennel cough and it sounds a lot like whatever that was.

  • When's the last time you vacuumed?

  • kennel cough...

  • hope she gets better :)

  • aww. how is she doing now? She is very beutiful!!! I hope she gets better soon.

  • GET BETTER ll

    soooooooon v

    ll

  • feel better

  • heart worms

  • Sneezing with it too? Could be allergic asthma. My american bulldog/pit bull mix does this too. We had to rush him to the vet this AM to get some steroids. But that could be a LOT of things, like heart disease or even heartworm. Best to get it checked out.

  • my dog coughs like that a bit, not as much, and I fear it's because I played fetch with her for too long throwing the stick in the ocean, and I think she got water down her lungs or something from all that swimming and getting the stick with her mouth. Is that dangerous for her?

  • How old is your dog? Could be congestive heart failure. My little chi is suffering from that now. Take your dog to the vet asap. It's not curable but it is treatable.

  • Poor thing, doesn't feel well and her tail is still wagging.

  • Hi, this looks like the reverse seezing that my pooch is suffering with. I say suffering but she isnt really according to the articles ive seen. Its not a serious condition and sounds and looks worse than it is. I would think that if your dog is wagging its tail, theres no pain, have a vet check him out anyway, . it could always be something serious, better to be safe

    he/she's Gorgeous:-)

  • Might be kanine pneumonia

  • how is your dog doing now? what was wrong?

  • its not kennel cough but dude just take him to the vet cuz u can loose ur dog :) take extra job ask people for money do something before its gone be to late

  • Really can't tell what the problem is but she's depressed...which is usually an indication of something serious, There's nothing anyone can diagnoze from this, you haven't said if she's drinking, eating, moving, yelping when touched, white gums, hot to the touch...sorry but you'll have to get her to the vet. Can't you get a loan from someone?

  • @discoverydavid You don't know what you're talking about.. Dogs will do this if they are in pain. My pup was recently diagnosed with arthritis and she will do this. The dog is not depressed, just in pain.

  • @easyitsashley When dogs get sick they get depressed, a dog can will itself to die from being depressed... Go get an education and learn to read you idiot...and there is no need to reply with some semi-smart arse answer that just shows you to be more of a trolling idiot than you already appear to be...thanks but no thanks!

  • @discoverydavid mmkay. Same to you. And I love when people call people trolls! LOL. I wasn't even trolling.
