  • geeze, in australia that stuff is 25 bucks! and the face wash is like 27 dollars

  • Make sure the tea tree oil is %100 australian not kenyan

  • I've got this product over a year ago and love it! it actually did reduce the appearance of scars and use it when i need too.

  • Good, honest review, well done. My experience with this product is that it does eventually give good results but you have to be persistent. I get the feeling too that it is quite strong stuff and can sometimes actually cause rashes though it's hard to know whether it's the product or other causes e.g. diet, stress, pollution etc. It does seem better than similar products on the market. However, I'm still trying to work out why you need it as your skin looks very clear to me ! E.T. would pr

  • Just remember its antiseptic and it had improved my acne so if your acne is infected it does heal the scars and acne that can get infected. I like it helps when i get acne once a month so yeah dissing the purpose of the product its self.

  • I hav combination skin and use the body shop products the seaweed range which is brill

  • i used this a year ago. It didn't work very well for me. i have combination skin. Extreame oil on some place on my face and dry on the others. The woman at the body shop said that the seaweed range would work better. The Tea Tree Oil Blemish Fade Night Lotion made me have severe breakouts which took weeks to get rid of and made my acne scars worse. Like xteena said its not for everyone.

  • hey anyone know of another alternative to this lotion ? i actually like it but i aint paying damn near $20 per bottle ( in Canada ) ... any other tea tree lotions similar to the Body Shop one someone can recommend ? Thanks

  • @ShowKase, you can use 100% tea tree oil that u can probably get at your nearby beauty supply store for under $10 bucks. It is really strong though if you can handle it. One of my guy friends used 100% tea tree oil on a dark blemish on his face and it faded in like a week. I was so amazed b/c each day I saw him it got lighter and lighter.

  • Ebay :) @ShowKase

  • I basically just use the product on my blemishes and I think it works pretty good. The acne blemishes around my lips are slowly fading pretty nicely. I haven't really been putting it all over my face though. (:

  • i use the cleanser, toner, and mosturizing lotion.

oh and tea tree oil xD

  • i hav that product and i had really bad skin i had a couple of spots and i drank water and used this aswell as three others sand now ive got much better skin :) x

  • i actually apsolutely loooove this product! ive been using it for years and i only use it on my pimples and not on my whole face and for me it really does get rid of my pimples and scars from pimples! i think i have normal skin... lol its not too oily. but yeah. i loove this product. and using it just on pimples actually makes it last for years lol :)

  • Ur skin looks so clear and beautiful : D

  • Omigosh $19? I got mine for £6 :') i love it thouughh it just needs more in ittt! >;0

  • why not buy whitch hazel? its good for the face =) and clears skin.

  • I'm wondering about tea tree oild fumes... it's quite strong... is it poisonous or bad to sniff?

  • I got it a month ago in Canada for $4!! Wow, I wonder why there was such a huge drop -price wise-?

It has been helping with small blemishes, but, for me, I don't notice a difference in the larger blemishes.

I don't see a difference in the scaring, but in the actual blemishes I say it's pretty decent.

  • @musicobsessed224 Hey there! The regular price is $18 CAD but they do sell the ones in older packaging for $4 during certain sales, like boxing day. I bought a 4 dollar one too (I worked at the body shop over the holiday season)

  • I heard that tea tree oil can actually be really damaging to the skin long term? Is this true?

  • @NegativeGirl89 nope. its a natural, good substance. only if its in products with a thousand chemicals, so it wouldnt be the actualy tea tree oil that would do the damage.

  • Wow I wasn't aware that it was $19. I bought it this morning for $4 and was debating whether I wanted to waste this $4 or not haha. Looks like it's wasted anyway :p

  • I got mine for $4 canadian!

  • @Jennifersmith1596 Serious? How much is that in USA? An where?!?!

  • @nicolegrl19 umm yeah body shop went on sale and i got this , the blemish stick and all in one cleanising wipes for 11 bucks.. im not sure where in the us , but chk our the nearest body shop there

  • @Jennifersmith1596 me too! they put it all on sale just because the packaging changed haha good or us!

  • Holy cow I had no Idea it was that much! I got mine for 4 dollars today!

  • @AllTheCyanide Where?!?!

  • @nicolegrl19 There was a huge sale on at the body shop in the mall where I live :)

  • could you do a review on the body shop tea tree foaming cleanser?

  • Use pure tea tree oil on pimples!!!

  • umm.

I want to pinch those well rounded plumpy cheeks.

    The End.

  • @trickmastermonkey What cheeks are talking about top or bottom?

  • @rompeligas2234 both of them!! !!

  • @trickmastermonkey Oh okay.

  • i agree with Perfectgrl6971.

i've been using this product for a couple of monthes now, smoothing it on after clensing before bed and its working wonders!

it isn't very moisturising i agree so what i do after pplying the tea tree night lotion is then apply a light moisturiser :)

  • i waited til it went on sale before i bought it so i wouldn't feel like i lost money.

but i'm going to try it.

  • i had this product and found that is was not very good, it didnt make me break out but it just didnt do anything, i dont have marks anymore because they faded naturally, i would recommend to anyone to just be patient and just wash your face with anti-bacterial soap and that is the best thing, it will take time but it will make your skin less oily and the scars will fade with time

  • If you put a few drops of tea tree oil in water, and use instead of commercial deodorant, dab on a few drops with your finger tips, it works better and is pure, organic and totally free of chemicals.

  • Dr blaines "Scar care treatment" is the best for scars.

so if you have scars get Dr blaines. its at walmart

    enjoy the day

  • hi...can you please tell me where Dr. blaines product is in walmart...in the skincare aile...cosmetics?

  • woooohh, (:

i havee it and i had loads of likee spotty scars coz i picked them.. (oopsiess), annd its reduced them and uu can hardly see them anymoree, and my spots are GOINGG after 3 years (: x (not acnee, jus your ordinary pimples etc). x

  • id agree with that.

my skin is oily but this doesnt help with the shine. i tried using it for about 6 months and i found better products than it

  • like which ones?

  • like the clinique acne skin care line is amazing for oily skin. and even just the biore skin care line i think controls oil better than thiss :)

  • clinique sucks for me.. but i'm a guy.. dermalogica is very very good.. and believe it or not does israeli sea salt line products are very good.. like adovia

  • i tried this it never worked it made me break out more

  • Wow you've had the complete opposite thoughts and results I guess from using the product.. I love it! It works so well and had faded my scars do you also use the face wash? Because if you don't that's probably why you don't really like it. And the scent it amazing it's refreshing and cool and fresh it's just so good=)

Sorry you font like it, your missing out.

It's changed my face so much.

  • Do you live in a cooler environment or a warm one? (the night is cool?)

I live in a warm climate year round so having something like that on my face when the night isn't always cool may not be as effective vs someone who may experience dry or colder weather. I'm just wonder about these responses that say works for them because maybe they don't have to worry about perspiring it off?

    Just wondering.

  • i got a sample of this product n i luv it

  • i lovvve this stuff

  • vichy works the best.. for me at least.. out of all those endless acne products i tried

  • I love this stuff, it works wonders on my skin.

  • i use it in 3 steps.

the facial wash, toner, then the lotion.

    its pretty good.

after the product dries up a bit i put baby lotion on it and it feels SOOOOOOOO smooth.

  • i have it too! and took about a month for my blemish to vanish! but i wonder why my face did'nt improve even with the cleansing wash.

  • Compared to the other Tea Tree Oil stuff from the Body Shop, it smells really good. LOL. It does help the appearance and I'm glad I bought this!

  • One of my friend is a manager at The Body Shop and she recommended me to use it. Anyways, my friend had told me that that night lotion helps the appearance of future acne scar after a breakout. Personally it is a good product, but it wasnt too affective on me either. I still have the bottle and it's been 4 months.

  • i bought this product. the smell is horrible, but works wonderfully.

  • the toner works really good with that lotion for me

  • i use the face wash lol ITS AWESOME. :) also, since u hv an oily face (so do i) i REALLY REALLY AND I MEAN REALLY reccomend the face wash. also, use the Garnier Pure Long-Lasting Shine Control Moisturizer. i bought mine from a drugstore for about $13. ITS RELLY GOOD. ur worried about oily looking skin all day? throw out the blotting sheets and invest in this! no oily skin ALL DAY! about 8 hrs i guess. RELLY GOOD. i looove it i mean it!

  • you can buy pure tea tree oil at sally beauty and put it in your regular night cream, or for an extreme pimple you can even put the tea tree oil directly on your face. muuuuuuuuuuch cheaper.

  • thts true my mom does tht lol

  • question: (which i believe hasn't been addressed yet in your FAQ's) what kind of skin do you have?

i'm really glad i stumbled across your channel because i'm finding your makeup reviews/tutorials very practical and the products you use affordable and simple!

  • she has oily skin :)

  • also my friend got hers for £7.80 which is $12.50

  • i got mine for £5 which is about $8

  • i don't think it can help with the scarring. i used this product for over a month and it made my scars even worse.

  • where can i buy pure tea oil?

  • coco18, you can buy it at walmart, most drugstores..its pretty available.. at least in canada!

  • i brought the same product and i completely agree with you it's doesn't do what it says on the bottle the only different is i brought mine in london.

  • does it help with acne scars?

  • i was wondering the same thing,

    does it?

  • she said it didn't help her. but then again she probably isnt the right person to ask since it appears she doesn't have any!

  • Buy pure tea tree oil. It is cheaper than this product. Use a cotton ball and apply directly to pimples. It helps tremendously. Dries pimples up almost overnight. The smell can bother people but I think it is fine.

  • I was wondering about using pure tea tree oil...is it too strong or more effective?

  • I always thought tea tree oil smelled minty...

  • what color are your braces?

  • I would recommend using non-comodogenic products for oily and acne prone skin. Try using Avene products. Its really good! =D

  • thank you for you this review, the tea tree cover stick is just as sucky

  • you can use tea tree oil for ringworm also.

  • rly?? thanks!!

  • can you do a tutorial on this look?

  • under the moisturizer..it makes my skin feel so soft and i smell orange all day hehe ...one more thing..i started taking fish oil 3g a day about 3 wks ago... ive been getting compliments lol ..it must be it! cuz ive used everything..

  • .im using the tea tree oil mattifying moisturizer 50mL.. it works very well only in the t-zone areas ..and for the rest of the face i use lancome pure focus matifying moisturizing lotion..i can go all day without shine..(finally) ..it doesnt have spf tho! but i really love the product... o ya.. u should try the body shop "vit c skin boost" its like a serum, and i use it

  • this product dries out my skin, causing it to be flaky. :( it doesn't work me either. not much improvement on blemishes.

  • I was going to purchase that! Thought their claims are abit much too :p so i went for the seaweed range instead and it is pretty good stuff :)

  • i have the worst oily skin and i tried the tea tree toner and cleanser and it completly broke me out and made my skin even more oily than before it broke me out so bad im glad you dont have that problem with it

  • it does help over a long period of time, but i didn't even use it like that

i'd put a moisterizer on then that stuff to whereever the blemish may be, every other day i'd do it.

then after about 3-4 weeks it'd get lighter

    just get some scar cream

  • i've been using this one for 2 months

but so far, it's not working very well for me

  • i used the tea tree oil product and it dried out my skin so i went to the cvs/walgreens and bought the natural tea tree oil and it works better on my skin than proactiv did . but that blemish fade lotion isn't the best in my opinion. you should try the all natural tea tree oil

  • shiseido products really work well on my skin, and we basically have the same skin type and problems xteener, maybe you'd wanna try it?:D hahah, just a suggestion! love the video!

  • the only i like about shiseido skin care is the cleanser..works very well.

  • It does help fade blemish marks over time; it takes 3 months though...

I used it for almost a year but it began drying out my skin.

  • the pure oil works really well, but the smell....I wish they had a no smell version

  • great review keep them coming

  • xteener you are the queen of disclaimers!! always making sure people know it may not work somehow haha

  • you look soo cute in this video....ur skin looks so bright and clear

  • Shes right, this product DOES NOT WORK. I went through TWO bottles of this combined with the tea tree oil wash. This stuff DOES - NOT - WORK. My mom also tried it, DOES - NOT - WORK! Save your money folks! Thank got i got it for like 4$ cause it was on sale, no wonder that stuff was on sale because it doesn't even work! DON'T BUY IT!

  • does the plain tea tree oil from the body shop work well?

  • i work in a pharmacy and pure 100% tea tree oil that is used for cuts and stuff works really well.....whenever i feel a pimple coming on or if one has broken out already...i just dab the pure tea tree oil and the next day it settles down....try it out....should be really cheap in America....(ps im from Australia)

  • I agree. Just buy a little jar of pure tea tree oil. :)

  • ty so much for the great review!!!!

  • check out jason vitamin oil out at iherb use code MED173 for a $5 discount. enjoy!

  • can you do a review on neutrogena acne mark fading peel??

  • Just want to back up j1n1i14's comment about Bio Oil being great for scars. The back of my leg got burned badly in one spot in an accident I had and there's a little lump of scar tissue there and I have been using Bio Oil on it. Within a few months of using it the skin started healing pretty quick, I was very impressed. Plus it smells great!

  • xteeener!

I swear you are my favorite person to watch on youtube! You've thrown me into the throes (haha) of makeup and I just can't get enough! =)

You're an inspiration (you've already got me blogging about makeup), and I hope to make videos of my own one day. You're so affable, and your personality just shines through so much that it makes people want to know more about you!

I hope this brightens your day and just showing a little love! <3

  • All great skin care products have vitiamin A, C, E, and gycolic acid.

  • Xteener, I love your videos and have subscribed for a long time :) Just a piece of advice, if you want something for fading your acne scars/blemishes, get Bio-Oil! it's cheaper than this product and available at Wal-Greens or CVS.

I swear by it! Look it up on Makeup Alley if you don't believe me :)

  • how much is it and does it really work?

  • it's an antimicrobial agent the same way that benzoyl peroxide is. i don't see how it'd actually get rid of scars by...killing bacteria, but if that's what they're claiming. it does have less side effects than benzoyl peroxide though, but takes a lot longer to see effects.

  • have you tried the other tea tree oil products from the body shop?:) If so can you review those you hve tried?:D

  • i really love the tea tree oil face mask :)

  • Can you do a review on the products called EV Princess? Thanks(:

  • Try out the Tea Tree shampoo/conditioner if you like the scent. I got the dual set for $36, and it's improved the texture of my hair a lot :)

  • hey sweetie, You're gorgeous...have you thought of starting to write a blog like Fuzkittie or other beauty bloggers? I think that would be so great and helpful:) Keep up the good work!

  • For me it doesen't work at all so... I don't know...try it

  • i have all the line except this lotion, and i'm really impressed! It has done a great work, and fyi i don't put anything else on my skin except this line!

  • just lettin everyone know neutrogena all cosmetics are 40% off at cvs

  • yeah I actually almost bought this from marshalls. It looks like it works really good and I'm glad it worked for you so I'll probably get it! I have oily skin and lots of scars so thanks! Since I'm half filipino my scars are pretty dark too haha thanks!

  • I purchased this one a while back..it's a bit expensive for size, but I like it & IMO it works...

  • i hear egyptian magic cream is amazing. im yet to try it. check out imagrape ' s videoas

  • I love your reviews... =)

  • thanXz for doin this review!

  • Do you know any products that can actually remove acne scars? Thanks- Get back at me.

    Sabrina

  • sudocrem could help with scars and also bio oil.

  • love the fod !

    tutorial pleasee<3

  • I'm using that night lotion for 2 weeks now :)

  • thanks for the review, i was tempted to check out this product awhile ago.

you should try the seaweed 3 step routine? i'm not sure if it's called that but it comes with a toner, a face wash and a moisturizer. It feels great on your skin, the smell is.. ok, and the look of your skin afterwards is great and feels refreshed. :)

  • Clinique Even Better skin tone corrector is twice as expensive at $40 for 1 OZ., but IMO it offers better results and is the only thing other than $100+ stuff gives noticable results.

  • have you tried any of the other tea tree oil line products from the body shop? if so, how were they?

  • I use the tee tree oil face wash and it works for me...it makes your face feel refreshed and clean. I still use it and like it.

  • try neutrogena! it worked for me

  • i used this b4,,the first time it worked alrite, but after the 1st bottle it doesnt work nearly as well...but i dont use this as a lone moistruzer alone....i only use this on my pimple spots....w/ other cream on top of it...

  • i have this product but it didn't help at all.

  • Why would you even need that stuff? Your skin is gorgeous. I'm so jealous. :]

  • isn't she viet?

  • Hi exteeener! hope you dont mind me asking...are you korean? mandarin? cantonese? you are really really pretty =)

  • she is vietnamese

  • I went to body shop yesterday and asked if they had face moisturizers and they said no :(

  • use code:MED173 to get $5 discount for first time customers at iherb for this and other oils,

  • Comment removed

  • hey, xteeener, wish to see your reviews more often!!Lovely to check out your channel every single day!:D

  • i have this, i didnt think it worked very well

  • i heard it reduces scars.

  • Nice...check out my MAC haul. =)

  • yay a new video =]

  • i hate the smell of tea tree oil :(

  • i agree! its so gross

  • the body shop sells just the tea tree oil on it's own which i've found to be a little helpful with blemishes...but as far as the actual tea tree oil products they have, I've had no such luck. The foaming cleanser didn't take off makeup and the moisturizer dried my skin out

  • i love your skincare products reviews!

  • tea tree oil IS very good

  • Tea Tree Oil is a great ingredient!

  • what happen to you? ehres your new tutorial?

  • I was debating between getting this and Neutrogena's healthy skin lotion cuz they claim to do the same thing...improve skin clarity and fade post acne scars. I decided to get neutrogena...and it works great! it does what it is supposed to. My scars are fading 3x as fast as before, try it!

  • NOTHING of the bodyShop products work on me, it always break me out :(

  • Try physicians formula makeup, it doesn't make u breakout at all. I love it, it absorbs your skin's natural oils & stays on long.

  • wow thats prolly the most scents ever been usefd in one sentence

  • i like the tea tree spot treatment.. i have really dry, sensitive skin but i still break out so the Body Shop's spot treatment takes care of my blemishes without irritating or drying out my skin. i was impressed!

  • I have this product, It works pretty well for me.

    I *had I should say.

I love the body shop products, btu my skins not that oily so i don't know why i bought it, it did get rid of some scarring on my arm though (pretty much wherei only get zits.)

But I recommend trying body shops LIP STAIN, it's amazing!

  • you look so pretty here!

  • I've always thought the products from the body shop are waaaay overpriced for what they are

  • burts bee's makes a blemish stick that you roll on thats tea tree oil

it works really well and its only like 7 dollars
