Was a top day out reef fishing, with some great fish and good variety caught. We were well under our allowed catch and we stopped fishing and left them biting, Could of caught heaps more.

@Reefari Hey mate just curious as to what size lines you use for main line and leader?
I'm headin out the the G.B.R on a private boat and wanna make sure i'm equipped haha

We use 50lb braid, will stop most fish, and 100lb leader on our Paternoster rigs, Keep an eye out on our other videos with some great reef fishing tips, More coming

Great fishing but why keep those big cod??? For the future of your fishing trips and their success why not send them back.. they are not great eating at that size anyway..

Mate, we do try and release the big ones, but unfortunately they come up from 50 metres and don't survive the pressure difference, I didn't show the footage of us towing and trying to revive em,
