I would call it Detroit House. Octave One are far more house influenced than most Detroit Techno artists save Kevin Saunderson, and much of Saunderson's stuff is proto-tech house or detroit house rather than being detroit techno qua detroit techno.

The exhibitionist is a great dvd to get people into mixing and techno.

I mean the mixing isnt exactly perfect but then again, it hard to mix on 3 decks.

I wouldnt consider myself a professional dj though. ;)

Nah id disagree, its far from perfect.

He makes a lot of noticeable mistakes.

Theres much cleaner mixers out there.

well most djs playing the way jeff does will have minor fuck ups. Jeff mills has never been the dj's dj. Incredible performer, incredible production for his time and will reverberate for ages as one of the god fathers of techno. But he's not perfect. What i love most about jeff mills is the fact he goes for it every single mix.
