Gefilte Fish is a mixture of Pike, Carp & Whitefish that has been ground and seasoned similar to hamburger patties but is simmered in water and then refigeratored served cold with horseradish codiment. It is served as an appetizer in most Jewish household especially those of Eastern European descent.
