I have been in the process of applying for the army national guard, i took a really quick practice test and it didnt tell me my score but it said i did great and shouldnt have trouble.. but my math is shit i have to constantly study or i forget everything in like two days.. somtime in the next week or so i will take the real one..

i got my GED and scored a 48 on the practice test cause i scored low in math.. taking the real one in 2 weeks and i got the ASVAB for dummies and that book helps a lot

@CodyKirk92 hey i have my GED so i had to score a 50 math is my hardest part too i just bought a book its called ASVAB for dummie AFQT. i studyed for 2 month on math only and i got a 57 so i leave for basic in september! aslong as you study up and get a good night of sleep the night before eat a banana or something before you go take it you be fine man

. if youve ever takin an SAT it way harder that the ASVAB! JUST STUDY YOULL BE FINE!

I had to really study my math, they made me take a short test to calculate what I would get on the full ASVAB, I scored a 44. I studied math for a month and came back and scored an 83 on the real one. It was one of the happiest days of my life.

@Mannypacquia0 NO! don't use that book, it does not go over the basics at ALL it just tells you how to do math and expects you to remember your basics.. use the Petersons mastering the ASVAB book..it is very good

Awesome video Texmex. Thanks to you, I'm going to buy McGraw-Hill's ASVAB . I studied Barron's ASVAB book for three weeks and it just wasn't what I needed. You should post this video on Amazon as a McGraw-Hill's ASVAB, Second Edition book review.
