i grew up in a little, all-white town in canada, and i had a friend who's family had come from south africa. i can remember even back in grade eight he did not like blacks at all...he said that in south africa, he lived on a segregated housing block that was surrounded by fences, and there were armed guards standing around the playground during school recess, that kind of stuff. he said that the "niggers" would break into their house and they would have to hide under the floor. crazy!

Ultimately, in a globalized economy people will go wherever they think is best for them. This has been happening for people from China and India where the top professionals sought out higher pay abroad since 1960. This same "brain drain" argument was brought up. The tide is turning there now, as the local economies have begun to grow briskly with better economic policies, resulting in higher retention rates. South Africa can do the same as it is resource rich (minerals etc.).

i grew up in a little, all-white town in canada, and i had a friend who's family had come from south africa. i can remember even back in grade eight he did not like blacks at all...he said that in south africa, he lived on a segregated housing block that was surrounded by fences, and there were armed guards standing around the playground during school recess, that kind of stuff. he said that the "niggers" would break into their house and they would have to hide under the floor. crazy!

2 of 3 Drs who I have seen recently are white from SA. The 3rd is black from Nigeria. We're glad to have 'em. Even SA immigrants who are not Drs tell me the reason they came is safety. If SA addresses the fears of its people, maybe they wouldn't be leaving. To put it in terms we understand one told me 'Africa is like one big Indian reserve: corruption, blame whites for everything, no economic feedom'. I can understand why you would want to get out.

And these people are whom exactly? The one's featured in this video whose ENTIRE educational program has been bankrolled by the government but lo and behold - leave at the first sign of trouble? Societial class is NO longer based on race rather earning capacity and if most contemporary South Africans are aware of this and cater to the new demographic and still are in business. Wherever you're pulling your information from - double-check it - as it appears to be very biased and seriously flawed.

Zuma said he will change this, by making sure, every student that receives state subsidies sign a binding contract to work at least 10 years in South Africa, or pay back the subsidies with interest. Good step. I can see foul play through their rhetoric, they planned this all along, bankrupt the poor AFrican country to serve other white people. this is a scam, and thank God, it will soon come to an end.

Sad how the place is going to shit but all the ANC does is party, eat, drink, get rich, have THOUSANDS of kids and expect everyone in the world to respect them because of the liberation struggle. That's going to be nothing compared to the monumental struggle of fixing the country after they've raped it. Alles van die beste in Kanada ou bokkie. I am from Canada, Alberta to be more specific. I find that the South African trained doctors are more concerned of the cause than the quick solution. I am most impressed with the sincerity of practice compared to North American trained doctors.

Go to the poor children, train them,you educate and train them take care of their needs and send them to work in their villages and where ever when they are old enough, while you're at it do that for any specialized job you are in shortage of, train young children to specialize in the jobs, cut out all the things they dont need and give them hella on the job training. when theyve done that until theyre about 21 or something they can do whatever. Thats what i would do.

I wish every black nation could be prosperous and successful economically, more than my United States. Us white people, though, are obsessed with safety. Nope..even then we don't use the term STOLEN rather Canda is taking advantage on third world nations that still need qualified doctors. based on income bariers Canada lures these qualified workers from South Africa even then coming on their own. we are members of the common wealth world countries and in oveseas countries income has always been better off as compared to third world income for professional doctors. take them all after all they are your kind of people we will search next door.

I believe that Canada is contributing to the world's problems especially stealing south African Afdrikaner doctors that prefers to run away from the south Africa that their parents created.Canada should Deport all these Afrikaner doctors back to South Africa to face the challenges that their parents created. Its not right for a developed country to steal third world doctors when they can train more of the Native Indians to feel up such spots..
