I would say that you should avoid touching a baby and contact someone else for help if your baby won't stop crying no matter how hard you try. I would tell people that if they don't think they can keep from shaking a baby, they shouldn't have any babies. Shaking a baby only makes matters worse!

i'm a neurosurgeon and i've seen a case of shaken baby that causes intracranial heamorrhage and the kid ( a girl ) needed to stay in the ICU for about a month and a half .. now she's ok thank god but sadly the laws in my country arent so tough regarding child abuse so her abusers ( her family ) are still not in jail ... i hope one day i would change these laws ...

i saw this guy in the parking lot the other day talking to some one on his cell, then he shakes the kid. i screamed to get his attention on something else and he stopped.

This Message Needs to go out to everyone that is a parent or a caregiver of a Baby. If a baby will not stop crying and you tried everything and are frustrated put them in their crib and leave the room and DO NOT GO back into the room until you calm. If you have to call someone to help you. The baby might just be tired and might take a nap while your gone. A baby has never died from crying but they have from being shaken. NEVER SHAKE A BABY!
