About a month before this book came out I had a dream i was reading it. It wasn't at all the same but it was a good book. When the book came out I read it and it was even better.  Man this is a good continuated series even though it isnt the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. I hope there are a lot more to come.

I read the whole Percy Jackson series in less then 3 weeks... I only own the first 3 books. I started the Heroes of Olympus series but I just can't get the Son of Neptune!! I put a request on it in the library and I've been waiting for almost 3 months now!!

Two months went by and i found out that the one who cheched it out was only about 1/5 into the book. So what i did was, I went to the public library and checked it out there. That one guy is reading it very slowly.

Anyone remember in tBotL when Janice shows up and tells Annabeth she has a choice to make and Hera says it's not time?

I thought it was whether or not she would pull Percy (and luke) out of the styx.

Now I think the choice is in The mark of Athena. And the first line means that she’ll have to make the choice by herself

i have nothing against annabeth, but i really dont think that she's the 7th one mentioned in the prophecy. for one thing, that would leave the numbers messed up. more greeks then romans. i think that there might be some demigod that has a parent that caught the eye of BOTH aspects of a god. both roman and greek, making it equal. call me crazy, but that's just me. and anyway, juno says something to percy @ the end that makes me doubt it being annabeth. LOVED THE BOOK, read it within 24 hours. ^^

someone in my class who read the book said annabeth is only mentioned when percy dreams about her and thinks about her. aww...... so sweet. but its unfortunate that she doesn't make an appearance even though i don't want her heart crushed by percy when he says he only remembers her, just not as a girlfriend or friend. i wonder why jason doesn't remember the girl he liked or dated or who liked him but percy does. even if it's just her name. what's you guys' favorite series by rick riordan? kan

@Taylorswiftultrafan some one got an idea on the Camp Half-blood wiki. The way Annabeth describes what Percy did the night before he disappeared. Maybe Hera told him what she was going to do. (Though I think it highly unlikely) And as a request she let him remember one thing. Annabeth's name.
