@JRF1961 Sorry to hear such a rumour about Quentin Crisp. I've read nearly everything by and about him and met him, and I'm certain it's not true. All I know about his wishes for a partner (before stopped looking for one) is that he longed for a Great Dark Man - tall as a tree and twice as shady. May I ask where you heard the rumour?
