They flubbed up on their research here. I think that 1997 flood image is of Grand Forks, ND--not Fargo, which was much, much worse than the flooding in Fargo (proper) is today.
The downtown was decimated and fires tore through many buildings...

The flood in fargo this year is much worse than grand forks in 97, but the fires in grand forks added to situation.
