There are so many things but the ONLY reason this phone survived was cuz its 3G... THATS IT

its really glitchy, the resistive touch screen isnt accurate (it doesnt even register touches in the corner of the screen, the menu system sucks, it isnt customizable at all, and, although this is supposed to be a media phone, all of the media players are SO bad. you should really get it for like a 2 week trial, its not good at all. the only alright thing about the phone is that it has a.. decent camer for still shots. video is bad for movement but at least it has one.

i bought one of these yesterday on Telus in Canada and i love it. i played around with an iphone for a bit and i hated it but i also hate ipods so im a bit biased. the only thing i found with the Instinct that i think they should have done is that it comes with a pen but the phone has no where to hold it so they should make the phone able to hold the pen. once you get used to navigating around the phone you will love it.

well the instinct is half the price of the iphone 3g... you have to pay a monthly premium for the iphone 3g for 2 years... makes it roughly $420. The safari browser might be hard to top, but windows Opera is coming close.

Good review. I was really considering the Instinct; It's a solid phone and Sprint will even throw in a Bluetooth for $209 (what you'd pay for a 8GB iPhone). But I'm really interested in web capabilities, and in that respect, no mobile device matches the iPhone's Safari browser. Instinct displays mobile versions of web pages; the Safari displays the actual thing.
