I just got to the point where my number 4 will cut without effort...Now I'm gonna put a small curve on the blade and sharpen it some more on the water stone. Should be able to do that at some point soon, but my water stone only goes up to 6000..

@NGinuity I think 6000 will be fine. Isnt it fun sharpening the irons?? I like when it looks like a mirror.
