  • My favorite movie EVER!

  • the 3 greatest movies ever made, shawshank redemption, crash and fight club

  • I wish everyone could watch this movie it has truly changed me.

  • This is one of the best movies ever, with the best soundtrack ever!! love it!!!

  • Hands down my favourite movie of all time, such great meaning and so many layers in it. Shows how we’re all connected directly and indirectly. I’d watched it so many times and didn’t realize until a while back that the burning car Terrence Howard is standing in front of at the end is the same car Ryan Phillippe was driving, the guy who in a way saved his life.

  • KingHeartless1418 - me too man, me too..

  • GAY

  • @ripster8675 and you are stupid. which one is worse?

  • @ripster8675 ill cut your ballsoff and shove em down your throat would you call yourself gay to than ?

  • this just made me ball.

  • At the very end, Bird York also whispers "If you wanna be given everything, give everything up." That makes the song even more profound. She was robbed of the Academy Award for best song in a motion picture.

  • this movie changed me as a person

  • great filmm amazing song

  • One of the most amazing things in this movie is how the light and fire represents the human kindness!

  • Listen, this scene is like my bible. Any time in my life I feel bad, I watch it, listen to it, and cherish it. It heals me slowly, and when the song ends, I just magically feel better. I love this with all my heart. Thanks to the whole cast for such a brilliant movie.

  • This is really the perfect finale to the stunning picture that "Crash" is. The scene with the overturned SUV and the little girl getting (Not) shot are of course two of the most amazing scenes I've ever seen, but this is my favorite part of the movie just because the hardest part of making a masterpiece of a film is giving it a great ending. So many movies regress in quality greatly after the first hour, but "Crash" didn't. I kind of wish they had ended the film here before the Chinatown scene.

  • can't we all just get along ?? u got a year left Bother..

  • This song make me cry everytime, when I watch this movie. Much things changed in my life after I see the movie, fantastic!. God bless us all.

  • Really Really a gr8 movie. I liked each and every moment of the movie. Songs are amazing ..really gr8 work.

  • great movie and amazing song

  • fuck brokeback mountain, this movie deserved best picture

  • @2anzzzKing ...Crash did win best picture.

  • @Zynpar09 i know, im just saying to people that it deserved it...

  • you are black ,white asian or hespanic at the end we all are human bye

  • I really enjoyed the movie..you never know who youll touch in a days time..there are always some type of repercussions..it doesnt matter who we are..

  • It reveals how much we are the same, but yet so different. Touchy feely to a certain extent, but sadly, the racial cultrual differences are exposed big time.

  • Just watched it last night...feel like wanna see again. Amazing, really amazing

  • It's about being at the crossroads of your life, wondering what to do next....after making so many mistakes.

"You think you know who you are; you have no idea."

Being terrified at getting it all wrong again.

At God's mercy, begging for an answer, learning how fragile life is and how frail success is.

Learning how small I am how little I really know.

That's how I feel when listening to this song and watching these scenes from "Crash."

  • I don't think this is movie only about racism. The color of our skin is something that we see from outside. But people are also so different inside. And sometimes we don't accept someone only because he/she is different from ous.

This movie remember us what really life is, and what is in human nature. No one is apsolutly good or bad. Sometimes we did wrong things unpurposely.

This movie is totaly catharsic. I especially like the scene when Sandra hugs her handmaid. It's so honest embrace...

  • This movie changed my live. I WAS a racist before watching this movie.

  • @nights1900 God bless you for your honour and integrity. Takes alot of will to admit something like that. Well done

  • Such a powerful part of the movie.

  • Such a powerful scene. I'm so glad Crash won over Brokeback Mountain

  • @TokyoKnights3 I hear that. Life is a choice between love and fear. Bill Hicks taught me that.

  • @TokyoKnights3 Amen. The better film won.

  • I thought it was one of the best movie that Ive seen. Life is full of ups and downs. I guess the way we handle our problems and differences is what makes us who we are... This song is so wonderful and fits..

  • how could 5 people not like this????.....please do us a favor and jump off a cliff!

  • This movie has so many meanings that you can't really explain unless you watch it.

  • This Song... So Many Words To Choose. None Bad.

  • life is too short to be mean

  • @erlfor5 You sure hit it right on the head! Eloquantly worded.

  • best BEST PICTURE

  • 5 peolpe accidently hit the dislike button and though it said "dis i like"

  • Love this bit of the movie, what a great movie :D

  • 20% of this movie is the music. The acting in this film by all the cast is one of a kind, rarely seen is alot of movies from 2002 onwards..

  • I'm in Sandra Bullock's position in this film. I have no real friends just acquaintances.

  • @ares12790 Me too...and to make matters worse, I lost my father (my friend, my strength) on June 15, 2010--he committed suicide. I MISS HIM SO MUCH... the pain is inexplicable...

  • @EmmaRose473 well im sorry for your loss. I am fortunate to still have my parents. I just wish i could find a girl to fall in love with and vice versa to be honest rather than friends that are not really my friends.

  • Excellent movie!

  • Bless you erlfor5 :)

  • One of my favorite songs. I love Bird York as much as I love this movie.

  • I love this song! Thank you for sharing it.

  • If you're searching for movies like this, watch also Magnolia and Babel. Deep and touching movies.

  • such a beautiful song and such a beautiful ending to such a moving and intelligent piece of film....the part that's shown after this with Ludacris's character is wonderfully ironic as well...easily one of the best movies I've ever seen

This song should've won the Oscar when it was nominated

  • @miggy25 Crash did win the Academy Award for Best Picture in 2005. Unless you mean any actors from the movie nominated for and acting award?

  • thanks for sharing

  • House M.D

  • This song does things to me. :)

  • feelings and emotions unbeknownst to me brought about a deluge of amazing wonderment while experiencing this film. or, yeah, . . . .i loved it too.

  • love this song, love this movie, masterpiece!

  • I loved this movie so much. To me it showed that people judge by race too much. At the end of the day, all race, religions have family just like you... beautiful.. But when i looked up what the movie was actually about. It said nothing about Racial difference.

  • great film x

  • When i watched Crash, I thought i've never seen such a long part of a film with hardly any speech in but said so much...beautiful.

  • sick part. IDk why its inspiring, sad and beautiful

  • I really like this movie.. its very, very good.. =)

    @erlfor5, Great comment !!

  • This movie was meant to reflect on how we are all intertwined.I did a report on it for an ethics course in 07. I watched it like 5 times not because I had to but because I wanted to. Recently I was watching American Idol and I heard this song again....So touching!

  • Great movie, great song -- it just goes right through me.

  • like an indian takeaway

  • I really enjoyed this film and I thought it revealed much about human nature. To me it showed that everyone has capacity for love and compassion, yet some don't realize this until they reach a traumatic moment in their life. We are so caught up in our prejudices and often fail to realize that nearly everyone, regardless of skin color, is seeking happiness and acceptance.

  • @ wow I couldnt have put it better myself, we all need that emotional touch.

  • Well said...

  • Best comment that I have read on youtube so far

  • @erlfor5 I agree with this 100% its like you took the words straight out of my mouth!

  • @ erlfor5 very well said!

  • @erlfor5 amen.

  • @erlfor5 completely agree, couldnt have said it better myself

  • @erlfor5 so well said friend.

  • @erlfor5 Truly.... Ultimately were all seeking just that. What's really important to us often gets lost in translation due to the anxieties surrounding just being human.

The movie really is a dramatic realization of this..... amongst others..

  • Bird york - in the deep

  • what's the name of the singer ?

  • I love Cheadle in this movie. Such a solid actor.

  • (continued from below) It's like when Matt Dillon's character says to Phillippe Ryan's..."You think you know who you are? you have no idea"

  • I love this:

Dillon's character was angry that the black Shaniqua had dismissed his request, and took his anger out on two black people. Officer Hansen didn't like it and requested to be teamed with someone else... then at the end, Hansen picks up a black guy, he sees his shoes are muddy and trousers are ripped and assumes he has a gun, he shoots the black guy... Now who is the racist one? I love this film, very glad it won the oscar for best film.

  • If you think this film was to place emphasis on Caucasian expression of racism then you totally missed the fucking point of the film.

  • @n0deity

Exactly, that's exactly what I think the film was about. I mention two particular parts of the film, but I was talking about the entire film as a whole.

    Grow up.

  • Yeah, my initial point was correct, you missed the point.

  • When you recommend this film to someone do me a favour. Do not tell them it's a film about racism, most of us will be arrogant enough to assume it doesn't apply to us and be dismissive. The point is it applies to every single person on the planet. It's a film about those defining moments in our lives when we discover to our surprise or shame who we really are and what we're made of. It's also about how our lives can change forever depending on how we react in those moments.

  • I agree, gerry. I really enjoyed this movie and this is my

favorite part of said movie. Powerful stuff.

  • It's Christmas but its not snowing - only ash from the burning car.

  • let go.

  • I love this part of the movie

  • i love this song it is beautiful!!!!

  • one of the best movies I've ever seen. the cast was fantastic. if you haven't seen this movie, you need to.

  • Beautiful music to a Beautiful ending!

  • Beautiful song.

  • what an amazing voice integrated into a powerfully moving composition. angelic and beautiful.

  • One of the best scenes because of whats going on the beautiful music. So powerful!! it makes you think about your beliefs

  • It's more about fear than racism.. So good

  • fear is drug that feeds the hate - have tears but no fear. beautiful joint!

  • That's correct, totally agree:)

  • @chaaxx Isn't what racism is about? Fear...

  • CRASH !!! the greatest movie ever, makes you think... SAY NO TO RACISM

  • ignorance is the point the film is trying to make not racism xx

  • Ignorance in the form of racism. Racism is far too prominent throughout the film to suggest that wasn't the basis of it.

  • ignorance, steryotype, racism the film is about all 3 which in reality is all the same thing!! learn to accept each person forwhom they are not what they look or act like... either way a f**kin classic film xx

  • Yes :)

  • i wish i could have seen this when it first came out! but i was like younger..i just now found out about this movie and watched it the other day! lol!

  • my all time fav film, really gets u thinkin

  • same here! this movie, fight club, and good will hunting are my three favorite movies of all time!

  • good will huntin is ledge !!, heat and road trip my other 2 favs

  • can some1 tell me how the song is called with the part: lets get married tommorrow i found my way home,

starts in the movie when the black doctress shaniqua gets an car accident

  • Esse mereceu o OSCAR 2006... congratulations...

  • 0:59 to 1:19 really made me cry.. ='( at first i was really mad at the police for being such a racist but when i found out where his angst was coming from i felt sorry for him.. that scene was really touching and i really felt sorry for the father.. i don't ever want my dad to end up like that..='(.

"It's the sense of touch.I think we miss that touch so much, that we crash into each other, just so we can feel something. "

  • I love that scene. This movie has so many great scenes, but this one was one of the more touching scene for me. My dad is sick too and I take care of him. The scene was a little to close to home. I am also trying to get in the LAPD

  • every time i listin to that song my tears fallin my eyes

now you're out there swimmin in the deep

  • The movie Crash with this song makes you look into yourself.

  • la vi con mi chinita!! me gusta mucho esta peli

  • this film haunted me for weeks and probably changed my life a little!!!

  • I watched this movie for the first time last Friday, and your comment here is exactly true, I'm now looking at my own life, and have realised I'm in a bit of a mess. I'm hoping I find insperation very soon

  • There are only two movies I've ever seen that I can say are my favorite movies of all time: Magnolia and this, Crash. Magnolia used to be my favorite of all time. Then I saw this and now I'm tied between the two. There both AMAZING!!!!!!!!

  • that scene with matt dillon and the guy who plays his dad in the movie is pretty touching

  • beautiful music !!!!!!!!!!

  • 0:58 is a nice moment between father and son. It shows Matt's soft and caring side as he hugs and kisses his dad while crying

  • have movies ... and have songs ... and sometimes this things meet ... THIS IS GREAT THINGS IN OUR LIFE .... Great movie!!!! Enjoy LP

  • i love this song and movie!!!

  • winner-best picture academy award

  • so true

  • nice

  • Great Movie, Shows Alot About Diversity and How Different Ethnicity's Interact, Its Touching Really Great. And Really Strong Emotional Play

  • "of you want to be given everything, give everything up."

  • what the name of this music ?

  • In the Deep, by Bird York

  • everyone is trying to redeem themselves

to give them this feeling of self rightousness

but the truth is most of us wont be allowed into heaven from all

the things we were'nt supposed to do...

and since there is nothing to change the past

it is time to realize our actions and change them for our future

  • It's not that we are NOT ALLOWED into heavean it is more like there is alot to overcome within ourselves to REACH heaven. God Bless You.

  • Intertwining stories of Angels intervening in our lives, in many forms, and the possibility of redemption, for even the most seemingly lost souls.

  • i love this song and the movie <333 thank you so much for posting!

  • Canada's cool. But Not as cool as just north of nowhere.

  • hahahahaha I live in America but idk why everyone is dissing canada i mean they just mind their own business.

  • it all starts with free health care watch the movie sicko by micheal moore it kinda explains it

  • Michael Moore knew what he was talking about... anyway, beautiful song and beautiful movie! One of my favorites... If you are a human and feel at all, you can't not be moved by this film.

  • This is one of the best movies I have seen of late. I just hits the soul of anyone who watchs it. This move has a pwerfull message behind it and I think that we all do crash into one another in someway and that we effect each others life.

  • whats with all the comments about canada?

  • remarkable.

  • Beautiful..

  • the transition from this song to sterophics maybe tomorrow was a perfect combination

  • Simply beautiful, its magic when good music and good cinema meet, did anybody notice the significance of the stop signs in the movie..they appear throughout the movie
