We had a lifelong democrat speak at our McCain/Palin rally as well. She poke about how she always voted democrat because "my daddy said so". She talked about the hardships she went through as an African American. She spoke about how she raised two children on her own.. and her oldest went off to war.

At the end, she outlined the principles of the democrat party.. and she said that when she decided to vote for McCain 100%, she said a prayer to her father who had been long passed, and said "Daddy... you were never a democrat."

It was beautiful. And she said she's never been more proud of herself in her entire life.

People like this are an inspiration.
