This was the first commercial I animated on. It's nice to see it has fond memories for other people, too. (Can't tell them apart?: flat Freddie and edgy Eddie.)

I still eat Shreddies. It's very good and it's now made by Post cereal here in Canada (because of the Nabisco/Post merger in 1993).

I remember Eddie and Freddie (and when Shreddies was made by Nabisco), but not this particular commercial as I was only 1 in 1989.

Wow! I remember this from when I was a kid! The mascots' names were Eddie and Freddie! But my favorite Shreddies commercial was the one from 1988, where Freddie and Eddie climbed inside the computer and got chased through a maze by a robot or something, to which they tossed a bunch of Shreddies.
