  • Good Video mate. Its wet here in Australia at the moment too.

  • @trickybricky64 Thanks hope it drys up soon for you.

  • Outstanding shooting. It's good to see rabbits keel over and not perform the back somersault - I'm pretty sure it means that your shot has knocked out the 'motor function' centre of the brain and that's as good as it gets.

  • @s10m0t10n Yes the big Bisley Magnum pellets seem to do a lovely job of blowing them over cleanly but the young rabbits can do a few back flips even on a good head shot.

  • enjoyable watch. i liked your rabbit skinning vid too, could see what you where doing alot better than most of the other vids . keep posting

  • @Milkmaidpaladin Thank you glad you enjoyed it.

  • could really do with some help i dont know nothing about air rifles i have tryed to read up on them just really carnt seem to understand i am a yung lad and i really want to go hunting but have only got 100 to 150 quid to spare on a rifle and livin in england the legal limits 12ft/lb would that even kill a rabbit i dont know and if so what would be the best gun to get for that price range and dont worry if i get meself a gun i will practice befor i go out shooting anything plz reply good vids

  • @griffin1995123 12ft/lb is enough for hunting rabbits out to 35-40 yards with a head shot depending on how accurately you can shoot. There are a few 12ft/lb rifles that you can buy for £100 like the Webley AGS Value MAX for one.

  • @HuntersVermin thank u av helped me out big time keep up the vids aswell

  • What do you do with the pelts?

  • @tartredarrow Sadly nothing as there isn't any market for them here.

  • How do you handle ticks and such?

  • @tartredarrow You can hang them on a post and the fleas should leave the body as they feel it cool.

  • The reason the pellet hit high v low is that the briar branch "swung" the pellet up. A .22 long rifle would have hit low since it is travelling at a much faster speed with more mass the deflection would cause a ricoche downward. Great vids. I grew up shooting in the midwest of the US where we shoot every gun imaginable including pellet guns, and have seen this a lot.

  • @mojofish1 Thanks i didn't know that, glad you liked the vid.

  • Awesome. Great video.

  • @MrSpencerSS Thank you.

  • +++++

  • amazing video well done

  • @89target Thank you.

  • @HuntersVermin there seems to be a lot of hares about your area at the moment. do you shoot them?

  • do you eat what you kill?

  • @OsomemexicanguyO I eat the wood pigeons and some of the rabbits, the rest i ether use as crow bait or to feed my cats.

  • do you get paid for each rabbit? and if so how much?

  • @JAREDGSPENCER No sorry i don't get paid for hunting rabbits other wise i'd be out more often.

  • Absolutley love all of these videos.. Keep em coming. !!!

  • Your videos are exelent I made some shooting sticks off one of your vidieos and my accuracy has improved a lot thanks.

  • @babsg100 Thank you glad you liked them.

  • Nice narration and lovely videos .... Im here in texas and been considering rabbit hunting due to the fact that the few times i have taken deer it seems to be too much meat for me and my girl. A year later and I still have deer sausage in my ice box. Cant justify one hunting trip for so much meat lol Id prefer several trips with smaller game .

  • another great vid keep them coming! :)

  • @tyler23mma Thanks i'l try.

  • like the video

  • @perkyjim100 Thanks.

  • @HuntersVermin im just wondering what camera do you use on the gun thanks

  • @RickyPedlar Its a JVC 330 with a 30gb hard drive memory but it is three years old now.

  • please get a sock or cover for the mic, when you are talking and its really windy, it spoils the enjoyment. i've watched over twenty of your videos & the wind noise needs dampening a bit., other than that, i will be buying your dvd from blaze publishing. Well done.

  • @modernwarfareon360 Thankfully there is very little wind noise if any in my dvd. The camcorder i use hasn't got a way of fitting a better mic with a wind sock etc but i am looking at upgrading at some time to help things.

  • Can you please explain me, is the gun that you use is a bb gun with compressed co2 or is it .22 real hunting rifle, im from europe and for bb gun calibers we call the for example 4.5mm or 5.5mm and if its .22 real rifle, why is it so quet?, love your videos, sorry for my english ;)

  • could anyone reccomend a distance and possibly a pellet for a bsa commet .22 air rifle , its a springer and i dont know what range would be a good enough 1 shot kill range.

  • Dear HuntersVermin, I have to say, You have given me alot of advice of how to hunt and stalk rabbit. I've done so well here in utah There Isnt Many Rabbits around my area of the neighbor hood anymore! Thankyou.

  • Secondly i have noticed that with .22 rimfire rifle the rabbits were not killed instantly but with .22 air rifle they fell stone dead. Why?

  • @666Afridi Hard to tell, the .22lr rim fire bullets run at about 1000fps so will over penetrate and possibly put less knock down powere into the rabbit than the slower .22 air rifle. But shoot them in the brain with ether and they are dead.

  • @666Afridi I"ve shot hundreds of rabbits stone-dead with a twenty rimfire. Open sights too! Maybe you should make a better shot placement.

  • @666Afridi Yeah, HV is right. .22LR is too much for rabbits as a rule. When I'm after rabbits I 9 times out of 10 reach for the air rifle. Only time I use the rimmy for them is if I fancy some longer range action, and whilst that's satisfying, I prefer the stalk most of the time. If you (for any reason) prefer .22LR for rabbits go for subsonic every time.

  • @MrSDSTRIKEBREAKER Yeah i have to say the same as a lot of the ground i shoot over is small and close to houses so the air rifle suits me best.

  • why u r not going for heart n lung shot in case of rabbits?but u take heart n lung shot in birds.

  • Imagine of you dropped your gun in that mud, would have been bad!

  • @keyzee47 Yeah i would have cryed.

  • Whats the gun you use?

  • @MrFyngerz Its a .22cal 30ft/lb Theoben MFR pcp powered air rifle.

  • @HuntersVermin do you just copy and paste that cause that question pops up on all of your videos, which are awesome by the way

  • @bowdude21 Yes some times but i can almost type it with my eyes closed i have been asked it so many times.

  • any1 else laugh there ass of when that piss came out - aweesome vids ;D

  • i havent watched your vides in ages and i have just relised how much i love them

  • @killkiz Glad you liked them.

  • thanks alot for the videos, love watching them. I own a BSA R10 and have just bought the 2011 upgraded mag as the old 1 was sticking like yours does, Its abit expensive but it does a better job :-)

  • @mailzy Thank you glad you liked the vids.

  • you say you work alone how come your camera gets there before you lol

  • @perkyjim100 Its all a question of timing.

  • clean shot..

  • I love your videos mate i have watched every single video of your back to back .. it took me a few hours but i got there haha. Can you make a video on trying to teach us how to make that squeaking noise please. Oh and 1 question ... What camera do you use for the First Person View bits? Please reply as soon as possible :)

  • @XCasper17X Yeah that would be a good idea it is very simple to make by just by just sucking air between your lips or on the back of your hand. I use a JVC cammera 330 with a 30gb hard drive memory but it is near 3 years old now.

  • is shaun kearns your couisin

  • HV I think you should put all your vids on a DVD!!

  • @bobby2tokes Well i am thinking of making an air rifle dvd but using unseen footage.

  • hay in some of your new vids would you mind putting prices on your guns. thank you.

  • huntersvermin, im looking ar getting a new rifle ass my crossman just aint up to scratch any more i was lookin at the bsa ultra multi shot wit a tactical stock .22...would you say thats a good start point? thanks great vids btw keep em comming

  • @mrpaintballer7777 Yes the wee ultra seems to be getting a great review and i had i few shots out of one at the midlands fair and liked it.

  • i really like ur videos and has inspired me quite a bit. keep them coming

  • @rabbitassassinator Thank you glad you liked them so much.

  • Great video. I love them. What gun do you use?

  • @BrosephLax It's a Theoben MFR PCP FAC Model.

  • @BrosephLax Yes its a 30ft/lb .22cal Theoben MFR.

  • @lauren012400 Thank you, beleave it or not i have only shot one squirrel in my life.

  • @Aerozine50 Yeah but it would have been hard to explain to the wife plus she'd never let me out the door again with the gun.

  • Great video and shooting. Love your videos!!!

  • @grahamlong Thank you.

  • @ThePelletgunman no and its illegal to try anyway

  • 1st class as always vermin, won't be long till the airgun mags are head hunting you..

  • @m4x1170 The Hunter becomes the hunted oh dear, I have writen a few DIY articles for Airgun Shooter.

  • nicce job once again, belfast man

  • @mcavlan65 Hi ya belfast man, glad you liked it.

  • Great video mate,,,,Your gunna have to come down to Camlough, Bessbrook and we can go for a days shooting round here,

  • @looney1105 Glad you liked it, at the minute work has me tied up but can;t complain not much of work about these days.

  • Excellent as usual matey

  • @cbr600dave Thank you.

  • very nice video mate wats on your next one

    have a nice day

  • @delharrier Not sure yet, i have another rabbit one to come but will try for a few magpies or pigeons.

  • wait what size of pellets do you use?

  • @abecslides I use .22cal 21grain Bisley Magnums.

  • Nice, another great hunt HV. Cheers

  • @66yurt Thank you.

  • another great video cheers :)

  • @thestokie3 Thanks.

  • Can you give me some tips on finding and getting permission of land to hunt on?

  • @JamesGamesMusic The best way is to get out there and knock on some farmers doors, you need to dress nice no cammo and be polite. As if they have any vermin problems that you can use your air rifle on and a copy of some shooting insurance is good to have with you. But most of all keep trying.

  • another great video m8 how many shots do you get per fill at 30ff/lb take it you doing a 200bar fill?

    cheers del

  • @del040 Thank you, with about 3000psi fill i'd get about 50 shots but i usually top the gun up before i head out.

  • Looked like Nice healthy rabbits, very nice video, those boots really come in handy in that terrain. Always a pleasure to receive material from you, Take care.

  • @leftymadrid Thanks glad you liked it.

  • @TheJoeandGizmo Don't worry none of us want to spend a lot of money these days, but check out the Hawke range of scopes as they usually have something to suit every ones pocket.

  • Once again a great honest video , keep them rolling !! and good hunting.

  • @daystatesniper01 Thanks glad you liked it.

  • As always... Excellent video.

  • @tazlmc Thank you.

  • Very beautiful editing and shooting mate.

  • @Aonexia Thank you.

  • another great video were in N.Ireland do u shoot in also in N.Ireland ?

  • @666landyman69 Thanks i am in Co Antrim.

  • i have a walther 3-9x56 IR scope.its great, but it has normal crosshairs, not mil-dot.will it be any good for hunting???

  • @46FreddieMercury91 Yes it will be good for hunting, mildot are really desgined for man sized targets at very long ranges and not as good for air gun hunting unless you keep the scope set at very high mag all the time.

  • @HuntersVermin now thats interesting,.So if i use normal crosshairs, with a 25yd zero, how will i know how much to hold over if taking a 35yd shot at a pigeon, for example?? forgive my ignorance but i'm forever learning!

  • How much money did that gun cost and grate VID !!!

  • @amp9oo Thanks, i think that model of MFR is about £900 from Theoben Ltd.

  • @PLINKINATOR Yeah a lot of the ones i have been shooting are very scruffy looking too.

  • Nice shooting and correction after the brier.

  • @carbonrocket Thank you.

  • Another great video. Thanks for taking the time to make us non-permission-holders jealous again! ;) Keep it up please!

  • @jzorns Your welcome glad you liked it.

  • @Trevody Thank you.

  • Best hunting videos on the net .

  • @JNKONE1 Thank you very much.

  • As always thank you for the vid!

  • @bigbenelisbe Your welcome.

  • Im trying out some small game hunting. what gear should i bring what you recommend

  • @warpig144 Well besides your rifle scope pellets etc some good warm winter cammo clothes wear plenty of layers, a good set of boots to walk in and good socks and a ruck sack to carry anything you might want to bring with you like a good knife , saw etc.

  • sorry claggy, stupid auto spell check.

  • great story as ever, thanks. what's the word you're using for mud? Claver? Is it a bit like saying its craggy?

  • @ericthalfbee Oh you mean clabber its slang for muck in Northern Ireland.

  • have you never been tempted to put a sling on your rifle? it would make things a little easier, what with the stuff you are carrying about

  • @46FreddieMercury91 I have had a sling on and off the gun a few times but i find it can get in the way some times when crawling on the ground.

  • loved video lad cant wait for your next. Would like to see more crow shootin vids as there is definitely no shortage of em in ni. lol

  • @cokanelad Thanks i hope to get at the crows and magpies soon.

  • As per always a great vid, your irish rabbits must be poor of sight as the bunnies where I shoot see me way before I see them, any noise and they are gone.

    keep em coming

  • @davo022 I think the ones i shoot are ether used to seeing cattle etc moving about the fields or they have a touch of Mixy.

  • So look forward to your new videos. Keep up the good work.

  • @19rods69 Thank you.

  • another great vid what time do you find best to shoot rabbits? thanks kyle

  • @kylethequadman The summer evenings and first light are the best but in the autumn and winter if there is a warm sun out the rabbits will be out to enjoy it.

  • great presentation , enjoyed very much =)

  • @isofaster Thank you.

  • @isofaster Thank you.

  • how far was a second rabbit?

    Great video!

  • @krysks04 Oh about 40 to 45 yards.

  • @HuntersVermin thx btw nice shot!

  • i love your videos man.they're well produced.keep it up and thanks for the entertainment :)

  • @jason3064 Thank you very much.

  • Another great vid as usual, always puts me in the mood to go shooting.

  • @superben5000 Glad you liked it.

  • my god that is muddy mate im glad i don't have to plod through that on my shoot lol .

some nice shooting there mate that first rabbit you got just in time i think as it was twitching to bolt as you got it .

anyho mate keep these great videos coming mate .

  • @85k11 Thank fully it is only that mucky in the gate ways but it is a pain to walk through.

  • like always, another real good airgun hunting vid...thank you

  • @steffdemoff Glad you liked it.

  • Another classic from HuntersVermin :-) keep them coming.

  • @SuperSalacia Thank you.

  • do you shoot the rabbits and then film how you shot them? it must be an effort setting up the camera otherwise

  • @spr00sem00se It is time consuming but it seams to make good footage.

  • text book stalking mate like always. have you tried gutting the rabbits straight after you shot them, doesn't smell at all and makes them lighter to carry. plus gives a few moments for more rabbits to come out again. all the best, fox

  • @10999fox Yes i have tried that but made a mess of it so the meat got all fur and grass so i wait till i get home now.

  • awsome as ever, some nice looking rabbit there to. if i dont see another vid befror chritmas ( have a great xmas) and look forward to seeing some new vids in the new year. happy hunting , ATB. Tyger......from......devon..

  • @mrrabbiteye Thanks and the same to you, hopefully i will have a few videos to up load before Christmas vet.

  • I think, there were only 1-2 rainy days here, in Hungary for about 4 months. The last rain was about a month ago. I think we'd be very happy if we could get a little bit from it :)

  • @Shiftyhun We have hardly had two nice days together as last two months, it has ether been raining hard or blowing hard.

  • Another great vid

  • @grasmere16 Thanks.

  • another great video, how do u see that many rabbits, and how long do you hunt for?

  • @WildWoodHuntinClub I am just quite and take my time so as not to disturb other rabbits that are out feeding plus keeping an eye out for them as they can be hard to spot among the tall weeds, but i try to hunt for a couple of hours in the evening till its too dark to see.

  • Great vid as always, Im recovering from an operation atm so watching your vids is keeping me going until i can get back out in the fields

  • @angof Thanks glad you liked it and hope you get better soon.

  • do u really need to show u playing with the rabbits private bits all the time??????????? we see it everytime, also give the bladder a wee extra squeeze for me the next time because we all like to see that too lol
