Thank you for posting - I look forward to developing as a martial artist and really appreciate insights and different inputs. My sincere respect, TaeKwon
So really, I guess my experience of TKD is one of a funnel shape. The beginner phase expands slightly but seems essentially even in the building of new knowledge through the grades. At my point now it is getting a lot wider, but the emphasis is also on conditioning. I feel I'm learning and developing a lot. As an adult that level of demand is fine, perhaps children have a different experience. But as a beginner (or perhaps slightly beyond) I personally find the scheme well paced. Thank you for..
I've attended a class where no breaking is done and the students swing their legs with pointed toes and there is no clarity about whether your aim is to score points or to actually demolish with one blow. Some associations introduce it later, but it takes time...

We are following the same path set up by General Choi and it matches the requirements of North Korean ITF TKD. I have to put that first because I bow to you as senior martial artist with infinitely more experience. From a students perspective I feel that the curriculum we follow is highly disciplined and my understanding of technique comes directly from different uses of it....
That was the exact reason why I quit training after I received my 1st Dan. There was bugger all left to learn.
