Spyro333777 - Spyro333777 - see frsky-rc dot com. When the hack was done the main reason was Rx pricing, there were no FASST clones available, and the option using it for wireless buddyboxing.
Got one FASST orange receiver, but does NOT trust it, so I don't use it on my nice aircrafts. I got 4pcs of FrSky FASST compatible RXs on it's way soon and hopefully, they're as good as the genuine 617s like others had already tested & said
Spyro333777 - I use both clones, frsky accst and futaba original. I think the clones work well, but do a range test and also check the Rx antennas are connected properly. Futaba RXes have a small heel moulded into the case preventing any Rx antenna to pop off. FrSky dont - not on their clones, nor on their own. On the other hand we got slightly better results in range tests with the 8ch clones than original fassts, and the 7ch are similar to 617FS.
Why & What's the advantage of FrSky V8 over the FASST module?
Thanks
