The war started about 10 years ago and I notice absolutely no change here in America. Sometimes I forget that we are even at war because Al Queda will never be powerful enough to do any kind of counter offense. A new leader won't really fix that either.

@57worldwide Well, I'm just saying what I think about it. You obviously don't live in America so how would you know how it affects us? The war really does not affect most Americans. That is a fact, and I know because I live here. Just to let you know also, our government may be taking our rights, but we still have more rights than most countries in the world. Yes, we have a large debt. Can't deny that. That's just how I feel and what I know, you are welcome to disagree if you think otherwise.

You don't have more rights than many more countries, unless you are talking about countries which other Western nations also have more rights.
