No, this is the first Pikmin when it was still in the development stage. The beta version of games are usually different from their final version counterparts.

Dude. This looks cooler than the final version. How you can have more than 100 pikmin out at a time. And how the flowers fall. And when they stand in that line. 20 pellets and you can get the pikmin 2 item cherry. That's awesome.

Well, I think your referring to when they are idle, because the Yellow Pikmin look close to white when idle or when zoomed out kind of.
