Neither Jesus nor the Apostles tried to "unite" with other faiths to accomplish world peace nor solve the world's problems. For example, Paul the Apostle did not try to unite with worshippers of Diana of the Ephesians in the Bible. Jesus told us to preach the Gospel and that He is the only way to eternal life. There are three kinds of religous pluralisms: prohibitive, relativistic, and authentic. Prohibitive would lead to a culture where religion was accepted, but with now exclussive truth claims, like Jesus dieing for our sins. @ateopuertorico sorrie i guess i should have done that in the first place...in Daniel 12:4 it says "...even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." i believe that "to and fro" refers to cars, jets, airplanes and such. yes science has always been advancing but not like in the 20th century. last century began with horses and carriages and ended with all we have now, jets, ipods, computers...all in 100 years! think about that CONT.
