Plus, I've run the stats on the Fruitvale Station, and within 1 mile of that area, there have been 319 violent crimes in a 30 day period. That's 10 a day on average just within a mile. You messed up when the officers responded to an assault call and told them "there's nothing going on, you can leave now". That's not how it works, we get a call, we show up, we verify fact from ALL parties, check the welfare of ALL persons involved, then decide if there was a crime committed or not, THEN we leave. Not when YOU or ANYONE else tells us, but when WE determine there was no one hurt. And the finding the knife... I've NEVER found a knife laying on the ground, I would have asked too.

I'd have to ask about the knife thing, not to insult your integrity, but because it's something that doesn't happen often. Plus, I've run the stats on the Fruitvale Station, and within 1 mile of that area, there have been 319 violent crimes in a 30 day period. That's 10 a day on average just within a mile. Do the cops have a reason to be leary in that area of anything that looks suspicious? Heck yeah, you would be too, if you were a cop. I'd be asking, "what do you need a ginsu for"?

You messed up when the officers responded to an assault call and told them "there's nothing going on, you can leave now". That's not how it works, we get a call, we show up, we verify fact from ALL parties, check the welfare of ALL persons involved, then decide if there was a crime committed or not, THEN we leave. Not when YOU or ANYONE else tells us, but when WE determine there was no one hurt. And the finding the knife... I've NEVER found a knife laying on the ground, I would have asked too.

I donate funds every month to the police too, not cus I care, but so they can treat us right, if not nobody else. i even got the lil bumper police stickers on my cars to keep them from harrassing me! y do i have to protect myself from the police? I have been to Oakland and Berkeley and experienced the police first hand. The cops are thugs, I was arrested there, stood on, cuffed and placed in the front seat and slapped in the face all the way to the station. BTW, I'm white so save the race comments people.
I would hope that somewhere in the United States is someone so pissed that they blow the pigs head off and show the other cops they can't get away with this.

If the cop can't tell between his taser and a gun he shouldn't have been their in a uniform in the first place. Anyways even if he did think it was a taser he had in his hand why did he pull it out when the individual was already in handcuffs on the ground. Was he planning to electrocute him for no reason. It is time to disarm American police. We have tasers and other non-lethal means of subdueing suspects. Special task force teams for drug raids or bank robberies can be armed with firearms if needed, but patrolmen should only carry non-lethal weapons. Get your community active and DEMAND the police be disarmmed. Agents of law enforcement are "public servents" WE are the public! Make a stand America!.
