I do think that there are some parts of this game where the players don't receive as much information as they should but, Not for the part where you're supposed to drop the bombs into the eyes.

If you read the sign before you cross the bridge, It tells you that you need to turn the eyes red and IDK about anyone else but, I just knew I had to use the bombs.
