@desolationofsmaug I'd call it "technical" purely for the execution in precision. Morbid Angel had broken song structure paradigms since day 1. However there is death metal out there that follows more "traditional" structures. I think you'll always find that the physical demand is certainly always present, especially with Morbid Angel.
