I'm a huge fan of indie wrestling but (and don't get me wrong) sometimes wrestlers take it to an extreme level (especially spike moves) that would neither help the business nor the wrestler. No matter how tough you are, you are a human and you are fragile.
Why the fuck any wrestler would want to try this shit is insane. It's not like the mat is as soft as a trampoline. I've been dropped on my head in the ring (Admittedly my own fault) and it fucking hurt.
The most dangerous moves are Alicia's fox and Kelly's roll ups aka "the deadly horishima roll ups" it took out nattie neithart for 2 weeks... they can beat much experince workers such as Beth and Natalya under a minute so I think SHIMMER talent should spent time watching footage of kelly kelly and a-fox to learn the move incase they want to win matches way faster *SARCASAM*
Y'all might not like Steen but that package piledriver was amazing. That was the first time I had seen it, and really enjoyed the way he uses the move. Orton whips the RKO out often but it is always the same. He might do it through a table or from the second rope but Steen took his finisher and did something special with it. Might I ask did he innovate that move?
hey Dragon, I really enjoy your videos, one of my greatest love is wrestling puro lucha libre etc, can I make a video request?? I think the moves are important but the selling is also a key to make that move look more devastating, can you make a selling video??? I hope nobody think im crazy for this request :P
All of these moves are just scary. This was a great selection of moves. I had a ton of opposing queries as I watched this but I realized, that all of this moves have the exact same problem. It takes unspeakable levels of trust to let someone perform these maneuvers. If any minor thing goes wrong, paralysis and/or death would be less than easy to come by. I think this was a great selection of moves. My favorite to see is the Steiner Screw Driver Suplex.
@JetlagAgain Well that's because the Indy scene is all about people being dropped on their heads unprotected, so it is a case of "Okay, that happened, next?"
@JetlagAgain Um,you aren't getting what I'm saying. Go to an indy show where there are only like 30-50 people there. It doesn't matter how loud they cheer, it doesn't sound like much, especially over a simple camera. They cheer loud as they can but it just doesnt sound like it
Backfist can do so much damage if done right, and by right I mean legit... We did this at our kickboxing gym back in the days... In Eddie's case if you pissed him off, he will do it almost legit lmao...
Backfist, Boma Ye, Steenalizer, Small package driver? There are so many much more dangerous moves like the Joker Driver, Makabe's diving kneedrop to the back of the head, Suzuki's Gotch Style Piledriver, Avalanche Capchudo, Spinning Unprettier,......
how is the Backfist to the Future more dangerous than say a Joker Driver? or if this is a 2011 list then take Gran Akuma's Rubix Cube or any other head drop move. Hell, I know a Backdrop Driver is alot more dangerous than the backfist! I really don't agree with alot of your choices in this video. A backfist (at its very worst) could give you a concussion if the striker is being a prick, however, there are sooooooo many more moves that could end your career at the click of the fingers
You might as well call the Psycho Driver one of the most dangerous finishers in wrestling history, not just of today. Is there any year that one hasn't made the list?
@Wasteoftime25 It's of current/active wrestlers he comprises the list of, so Bison wouldn't make on the count of his passing. He'd certainly have a move or two on an all-time list though, that's for sure.
@KaguyaTorei No i know now but the whole he got hurt by Nakamura was from something else in a title defense, but I can see when synthfiend said two months for a tooth is outrageous and for an orbital bone to break, it would require more like 6 months but the reality is a wrestlers image is important...
@synthfiend Idk bout all that I just saw the title defense and nakamura knocked a tooth out with a different move but the vacated title and two months i wasnt aware. But I can understand the time off seeing as how Tanahashi is gunna look like Benoit and Foley now :(
@blackfirehunter aside from fractures it could probably cause a concussion if it hits you the wrong way. And looking at Bret Hart, that could be a potential career ender.
@blackfirehunter It's a spinning backfist to the face. There's the possibility of s broken jaw, orbital bone, nose, hand or missing teeth. Even a concussion.
It's not flashy or leading to possible paralysis, but it could do some damage if done wrong.
#1 and #3 arent dangerous at all.
