hey guys, lets make a difference and help people by walking barefooted with them, that would change their problem!... NOT, why not dedicate 1 day of your work money to give as charity for all these people who need shoes, or even better, you teach them how to make shoes with what they have? oh well, atleast its a response to the poor, although I doubt they would care that you now also walk barefooted, since it just doubles the problem.

@stephinot, how exactly does it not help? A dollar is donated for every barefoot mile walked. And no they may not care that someone else walked barefoot. But the person who did the walk now has a small idea of what its like to live without bare necessities. The walks are about educating people and allowing them to do something simple to take action. What the heck are you doing that is just SO much better that makes you think you can come and hate on people who are trying to make a difference?

wow! as much as I love Hanson and support that cause , I do'nt think i would go to work and do all the milion things i have to do that day BAREFOOT , I'm a fraid people might poot me in a mental institute. as great of an idea as this is... I am sorry that I cannot participate. I'm sorry but this campus is just far too infected with discustingness to be able to do that. I refuse to make myself get tetnis by not wearing shoes on a college campus..since my non shoe wearing is not going to put a pair of shoes on anyone else...

But in spirit... I will keep yall in mind... and if there is a way to donate money or shoes somewhere to help out people let me know cuz I would much rather do that.
