well, if you're a low budget biker and can't afford a dh bike (which are quite expensive) and a xc bike it works for both, granted a dh bike geometry is specifically for going downhill.
its a good bike if you want to hit the local singletrack one day and ride a lift serviced park the next. sort of like 60% downhill and 40% cross country.
i also bought the pitch but after 15 km the fork stopted working (no travel) brought it back to the shop they opened it and didn't find anything and now it works again ....(so they say)
i really like the bike and hopefully i gonna like the fork to :)
@Earl2510 ya you would be able to do drops about 6 or 7 feet high wit no landing ramp. cause my brother did a drop about 6.5 feet wit no landing ramp and was ok with his sortie 2 with 5 inches of travle in front and back.
the pitch should be there, if ur looking to buy it check out evans cycles they stock it in all sizes. any1 got any idea how well this bike handles light freeride n jumps?
I run a small and I'm 5' 10". I could go for a Medium but I would definately sacrifice some durability. The pitch is really slack (like DH bike slack) so with a longer wheelbase it feels like a bigger bike. My small pitch feels larger than a medium Santa Cruz Heckler, so go figure.
Nice vid man. I've got a dilemma. I'm about to purchase this sick bike her in UK but have got real issues over frame size. nowhere seems to stock an XL to test, so have only tested a L. Have managed to get on an XL stumpjumper but the geo's are so different. I'm 6ft 2" and border line L/XL for the pitch.
I've heard that getting a smaller one is best option as its easier to handle and throw around and could always extend the stem/seat post etc.help!
Dude, get the smaller of the two. I am 5'11" and chose a small after ordering the medium. The geometry is suited to the smaller frame size as the top tube is really long. Mine now feels like a mini DH bike. I have ridden it in Scotland for a week and it was awesome.
im convinced, im getting this.now where the heck am i gonna get 2700 bucks?

People, that bike hasn't been created for DH, this is perfect for, what a many many people say, Enduro. With this price is quite fine option.

The green color scheme on the test bike is better than the two factory options, test bike for sale?
Fortunate we had the recent rains prior to y'all filming this, those hills are usually all brown!

nice video and good to see the pitch is a true all rounder bike, and looks like it can take a bit of abuse and ease too
