Why we Where's George

i just got into where's george a little over 6 months ago, bought a stamper (took it to vegas, thought i lost it, and bought a second stamper, found out i packed it away real well) i'm pretty much "cashless", use paper for lottery tix and the occasional dollar menu purchase at BK. in 6 months i've put in $3500. 1/3 of my bills were entered in 2 weeks in las vegas. i'd gamble and take my winnings back to my room and stamp them and gamble them again.

I george because I have so little money, I at least get some pleasure out of it W-A-Y after I spent it. Also, I like travel and geoography as well. I decided to put together a video for 2008 of slides of the towns where I received hits. Am working on that now. I am downloading pics from the internet for it. It is also addicting. My children are embarrassed to spend the marked bills! Too bad. If they want money from me, they will have to spread georges.

I do not fit any of your Top 10 list, I just enjoy playing with Money.

(also over the years I really like the mixed reactions when You spend your Bills, ranges from why waste Your time to Wow this is Cool. or Them pulling a Bill out of there pcoket to exchange it with one of There's becouse there on the Site too.)

Now that been on the site in less then 2 weeks 9 years is seeing the Sleepers come in,

Yea, when I asked people, I got answered and then tallied similar and such, the one with the most votes had #1. then the so on, mind you all I asked was I do where's george because...... and they filled in the blank, I didn't give choices and such. I appreciate your input too. Those sleepers seem to come in after around 2 years for me. Keep on Georging nad thanks for the reply. =)

I'm a casual "where's George" participant. I like putting the bill out there to see if anyone respond. It's like throwing out a bottle w/ a note in it out into the sea. What are the chances someone will pick up the bottle and take out the note and read it. It's a personal victory when someone does.

kewl you put one in a bottle at sea, any hits?

I thought about putting one in a zip lock bag, with a note about it and a marked bill and letting it go in a helium balloon to see if I get a hit.

Throwing a bottle out to sea was more of an analogy to spending a WG marked bill. However, what the heck I might have to try it. It can't be any less successful than what I'm doing now. BTW, I don't use stamps on the bill. I write my info down on the bill. Do you think switching to a stamp would bring more hits?
