Here is a good test:

(1) Get one yourself (brand new or used, I don't care);

(2) Smash the door in without a DoorPal, take the car to a Acura approved NSX bodyshop;

(3) Look at the quote from the bodyshop;

(4) Now, tell me if it is an exotic or not:-)

Sure, there are things that are newer, better, faster perhaps, but that does not change what the NSX was originally - a handmade exotic.

This car is HANDBUILT. It was introduced over 12 years ago, and it still looks good and still has cutting edge technology. Its mid engined, aluminum, hand built, very rare, and is the definition of an exotic car.

The NSX is the car that forced Ferrari to build a better mid engined sports car. I would say any Ferrari is an exotic, and I've seen way more of those on the street than an NSX. In fact only 248 were made in 2005 and 197 in 2004.

I'd like to see it withstand the impact from a sledgehammer. Also, I doubt it would be of that much help during a collision, even a soft one from within the garage. Say your husband is a lousy driver but he also just happens to own an H2, when he comes barreling into the garage, will doorpal protect against this?
