  • Absolutely Loved it...

  • Now there's some roots music for you! I love this song and your pickin'!

  • How do I get the mandolin player to marry me??

  • @freaknasty881 I know right!

  • The Purple Hulls are one of the CPB's favorites!

  • If you are going to make a home made music video, this is an excellent example of how to do it right. You can tell by their positioning that they worked out the camera angles and there is probably tape on their rug as markers. No one leaves the small scope of the camera. This is a bright version with a Christmasy feel. Of scores of BTMV I've listened to for a recent project, we have a top ten winner here. Great job Purple Hulls!

  • Wow! This band is awesome! Why don't we ever have bluegrass come to Long Island, N.Y.? I am definitely moving to the country nexy year, if it's possible!! BobbyK To the band, you must have put in hundreds and hundreds of hours of practice to get this good! May the Lord bless your work for Him! In Christ's Love, BobbyK

  • Yeah..!!

  • Boy, them there gals sure are pretty. Reckon I could get one of them to go out on a date with me? I got my own teefesses and everything! I am a wee bit over weight. Alright, I'm quite a bit over weight. But I give good sugar from the sugar bowl if you know what I mean. But, don't get yourself all excited just yet. I don't smootch on the first date. So don't even try! Besides, Momma will want to go with us on our first date. She alway likes to chaperone the first few dates.

  • Ben, do you have a video lesson on this song at a slower speed. I play a guitar and I would love to learn the instrumental.

  • I sure don't, bud! I don't have a guitar version to this, besides the backup that I'm doing. Did you want to learn a guitar solo to it or just the chords?

  • Both, I have been playing guitar for 43 years since I was 5yo. I've seen this played in a classical style and bluegrass, I would just to learn a simple fingering style to play it in my church someday.

  • okay, i'm a rock musician with a degree in music, completed all the acadamia etc..started in the 60's with a classical guitar..influences being paul simon & peter yarrow/paul stookey then i gave electric it's course and switched to being a back-up singing bassist
