this widening was so pointless, so much for keep left unless overtaking, most people think that means sit in the third lane so people can pass in the fast lane.

it would be cooler to have a lane going one way, then a lane going the other then the other lane then the other, so you have one huge wide road with cars going forward and backwards on it.

There's nothing nicer than a newly resurfaced road. The new concrete barrier looks much tidier...
