@SpliNterCellFan697 Halo CE doesn't have a theater mode like Halo 3 does, neither does it have forge. So how is it better?

@DjRadioIbles Yes it does.But you need devmode in order to access the camera debug commands, and to record everything you'll need a PC gaming recorder. Also, this has the ability unlike regular Halo games. You have the ability to mod maps too. Unlike forge you can also add A.I in there, and you can script animation and stuff. That's why it's a little bit better. Sure it may seem alien, but it's real easy...

@SpliNterCellFan697 I guess, but for most people using the theater mode in H3/Reach is better for machinima. The main reason that I prefer it however, is because the HDPVR that I use captures it in the correct resolution, whereas if I record CE on my computer, it adds black bars to the sides, or if I try to fix it in Sony Vegas, it gets stretched out.

@DjRadioIbles Yeah, but I prefer more on Halo CE, because it's much more reliably than Halo 3/ODST/Reach. It has much more functionality that you can play around with, it has much more than your standard Halo game. It fits my needs, I don't know about your needs. But for one thing it's a good, and better option than Theater mode in Halo 3/Reach/ODST. Also, it's actually more easier as well.

It is not illegal to make Machinima, it IS illegal to SELL Machinima.If you make a video, say, using Fallout: New Vegas, and then make people pay to watch it, then yes, it would be very illegal.But if you release it on YouTube for absolute free and give the right disclaimer, then no, it's no illegal. You can only use it for commercial purposes with explicit permission from the content owners.
