I drove this stretch of Route 66 from Flagstaff to Kingman. Some very lonely miles. Parts of 66 along that route have the original paving from the 1930s.

Na, we have our own bikes. My son rides a 04 Kawasaki KLR-650, I ride a 04 BMW R1150GS Adventure. You can't beat Route 66 out here in the Southwest. We live about 10 minutes from some of the best parts of 66. If you don't mind, I would recommend doing West to East. If you can, I can recommend to you a couple of dealerships that do rent. Hey bigrick, I rode that route last June. Holbrooke AZ was a cool Route 66 town. Good place to put in for the night and spend some time.

better lift it and convert it to 4 wheel drive, some of the best of rt66 is not suited to a low rider.
