@MrCarlHaynes I am very humbled by your kind and generous words. I'm sure you're a picker; only another picker can fully appreciate what's involved in getting a tune like this down smooth. Thanks
@pickrhead Playing through a korg pandora processor w/abt 20% compressor and delay then into recording board. You do know I playing along with my own CD recording? Glad you like it, thanks.
So nice to hear your version of this beautiful song!! I understand that you have a Tabledit version of it. I have just started to learn the song and would be so happy to receive your tab.
Very well performed, sir! I have tried this tune off and on for eternity but I don't seem to figure out how to play it. It is a real challenge, which you do really well! I'm impressed!
If you have the tab, I'd appreciate an email to jularbo(at)gmail.com
@Michael2x Actually, I learned it from a friend of mine before I got the tab. I can send you a Tabledit version of the tab if you have the Tabledit reader or program.
Great job on my all-time favorite Reed tune! Have you tried playing it capoed on the third fret (in Eb)? If you do, you would sound so much like Chet and Jerry's version of this beautiful tune!
Really nice, Billy. Your videos are getting better and better. The tone really rings out on this end. Well played and a great song to practice the hammer ons-N--pull offs ! Thanks.
@AbsurdBrane The hammers and pulls are a challenge to get clean, but, the result is worth it. I'm not a natural entertainer, so in the beginning, I was nervous in front of a camera. I'm a little better now. Thanks for looking.
@trevorm1 Most pickers try to play it in the key of C, but, capoed at the second fret not only gives those open strings a good ring, but also makes it easier to play. I've got a tab in Tabledit format. I'll be glad to send it to you if you send me an email.
Really great version of this Reed classic... LOVED IT! 8^)

Billy, this is without a doubt the best version of this tune, (outside of Jerry Reed and Chet Atkins), any one has recorded.
