@melsgtp Yes, he's over at a place called Max Tavern on The Corner, 2501 N. Woodlawn in Metairie. Not sure what the schedule is so ring them up. Up until recently,he was playing at a place called Mo's Chalet, also in Metairie but even though the place is still listed on his webpage, no dates are given so either he's quit there or he's on a summer break.
@tps70124 Eddie was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall Of Fame on April 26, 1998. I still believe he is one of the greatest voices hardly heard outside of New Orleans. To make matters worse, there's an Elvis impersonator who does marriages in Las Vegas and has screwed over a lot of people. His name is "Eddie Powers". Now dat just freakin' sucks!

@LJH70122 I came across this and "A Many Tears Ago" a few years ago. It's almost as if these songs never existed. I understand that Eddie does a gig somewhere in Metairie every so often. I think I may have posted "I'll Dream No More " by him a while back. I think I'm missing at least one of his songs; perhaps more. Would love to find anything by him from the early 60s. Anyway, glad you found it!
