Cornwall is not a "county in England" as the man says, it is a duchy and may never have been formally incorporated into Wessex or England. However the media, ever at London's beck and call endlessly spout "county, county, county ..." even though this is offensive brainwashing. The Cornish language is officially recognised but the government refuses to recognise the Cornish people as an ethnic group.

We are circulating a petition calling on the government to recognise the Cornish as a National minority. It has been created by a Cornish person who is not a member of any political party or organisation but who is very concerned at what is happening in Cornwall. Please sign it and pass it on to your friends. We want to protect what there is left before all is lost !:

Home rule for the Celtic fringe is happening Wales and Scotland too...There tends to be more Germanic ,Jutes Danes and Saxons blood in the people of Angleland or England and more a recent Germanic Royal family.
@monkeyapplenerd Please dont get offended, I'm merely an observer, but how would Cornwall survive if it was separate from the rest of England?? Has it ever been independent?
Yes it was its own nation at one time. And I am not saying independence, I am saying home-rule. Home rule keeps Cornwall in the UK but gives it a devolved parliament(autonomy if you will).
