  • The sale price is actually $350,000!

  • Some good ideas, but the riding position seems a bit flawed:

    - The tank is too low and too flat, so you wont be able to lock your elbow and knee during cornering.

    - The chain needs a cover, or it will grind your heel as soon as you go in for a turn.

    - You need some space for the gear shifter and the rear break AND you are supposed to have your toes/foot-tip on the foot pegs, not the whole foot like this tourist.

...so they will have to do a lot of re-designing if the want to go around tracks.

  • man this bike is so ugly!

  • man this bike is so ugly!

  • WTF?

Give me those 3.6 million and i bet i can come up w/something way better tham that.

seriuosly hoever buys this bike is very very wealthy or very very STUPID!!; or probably both.

I mean come on, the Dodge Tomahawk(way better looking, I bet faster ) had a $555,000 price tag, I can almost assure it will be more colletable too.

    joust mi opinion do.

  • @pankero1

Think you are better than the Formula 1 engineers who designed this? Be our guest! This was given serious thought with a serious amount of time going into this project. The design is so revolutionary, it is patent pending. Do a little more research to understand the methodology behind this great piece of engineering.

  • @pankero1 The Tomahawk maybe faster in a straight line over distance.Iv read all the stats on the Ecosse and they just cant be compared to each other. The ecosse handles a hundred times better and matches it for take off. The Tomahawk is wild but would not get near the Ecosse on a track. The lines of the Ecosse are design genious. They just do not compare. You will never see a Tomahawk racing in Moto1 but the Ecosse is part of the Moto GP evolution. I do like the beastly look of the Tomahawk.

  • @Claybomb33 ok, first , of all sorry for my previous comment. I do see your point , its just that the price seems excessive .... when I heard the price tag, I got the same feeling, as when I heard those immortal words from Dart Vader "luke I am your father"..... it just shocked me.

    anyway cheers.... D

  • I like the perimeter mounted brake... Buell anyone? Looks cool, maybe bring down the price... a few... mill

  • $3.6 mil. WTF!

  • i know!!

  • Seems well thought out, it might be good for another 10 mph on the back straight, but there might be some additional weight and driveline loss from the transfer case or whatever that new part is called. It would be interesting to measure a working prototype.

  • That costs 3,6 mln. JAV dollars, most expensive motorcycle in the world

  • I bet it sucks cornering.

  • i think the M1 would destroy it :o)

  • How much would one of these cost????

  • 3,6 million

  • ma ke roba è sta porcheria?? Cazzo sembra la moto elettrica di quando avevo 3 anni!!!

  • I don't think the way the bike is designed is going to help a MotoGp racer go through the corners of a ver close track with tight turns

  • hmm...it's too...simple...

  • Doubt this thing will ever be built...completely useless both on track and roads, just another ridiculous project like

    Y2K or Dodge Tomahawk....

  • This is not useless. The light weight and better rider position makes it nimble on the road and track and more comfortable. On the track is where it will shine with far less weight, lower weight, less drag, skinnier, and more powerful. Also the Y2K was built and sold. It still is. It is even a big enough success that they are coming out with a new model mith more power. So there is a possibility for this bike to be made. I would buy one if I could afford it.

  • or they could just buy a y2k goes faster, sounds frigging awesome and cheaper!

  • will it fit my 6'4" frame? will it cost only one kidney? two kidneys?? two kidneys and a liver? Is there a payment plan??? How much for replacement farings if I lowslide????

Meh...mass production and 'non-exotique' has its benefits to us mortals....I'll keep an eye out but I'll stick to the conventional bikes.

  • this ES1 sale price is $ 3,600,000 US dollars

  • i want one!

  • NO benefits for normal road use.

track use yes. but how often do racers have their knees in?

  • Well, the americans and good design just isnt compatible I guess.

  • The guy that designed this bike is a Englishman i believe.

  • Yes... and theres a big diff between being British and American I believe?

  • youd be supprised

  • Tomato and tomatoe?

  • Atlantic ocean...

  • You are all looking at the next generation. Probably purchasable by mortals in six to seven years.

  • This bike will cost round about a million dollars...

    no kidding, ecossespirit[dot]com

    take a look...

  • does any one know what the bike is in the background? Looks pretty fast...check out the motor in that thing.

  • Heretic X3, (dot) Ecossemoto (dot) com

  • Ugly as hell :(

  • I'll be impressed once I actually see it in a wind tunnel.

  • wont go into production

    at least not anytime soon.

    nice concept, but not realistic.

  • Whats the chances of this going to production lol
